CDP are predominantly Grenache based but have multiple other grapes as well...Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault, etc!

It's not "der pop" it's "du papp" where the "du" has a tight "oo" sound almost like whistling. The way you're saying it is not nice!

100% grenache normaly call Gigondas
Gigondas is an other place than Chateauneuf-du-Pape, these are local appellations.
