I love how this was a prequel disguised as a sequel, that was a perfect twist. All of the clues were there, the cars were made in 2000 or older, clothing, 90s references, old cell phones.
"They brought back the 2000's intro!" If that was intentional.... that was a brilliant, subtle touch of foreshadowing... Ah, Death, you never disappoint! :D
I knew you'd dig FD5! I could eat a can of film and shit a better movie than FD4 -- it was a very hard movie to make -- but shockingly it was the most successful financially by a vast amount, thanks to 3D. But that gave us the chance to redeem ourselves with FD5, which I think we did. Interestingly, we were originally going to have all the characters who survived FD2 be on the train at the end of FD3 as a surprise, but we couldn't work out the actors schedules. So we tabled the idea until FD5 and turned it into a prequel. There are a number of hints throughout that it's 2000 if you look hard enough, from the lack of modern cell phones to the models of cars used. Oh, and I think the gymnastics kill is one of the most excruciating sequences in the entire franchise. Absolutely nerve-rattling. Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed the movie and hope to get the same reaction once FD6 is done.
You all have one of the iconic franchises in the genre and i was glad to have watched these now bc they all still age very well. I enjoyed myself regardless of how good the movie was FD4 wasn’t that bad just kinda fast paced which in a sense compromised some stuff looks like but FD5 blew me away and the roll out of the explanation of how everything works in FD2 is my favorite moment in the franchise it glued perfectly and one of the best roll outs I’ve ever seen it hit me hard
@@snoopersgonnasnoop Much obliged, sir! What's crazy is that the scene in FD2 that you liked was the one scene the studio wanted to cut the entire time. We had to fight to shoot it, and fight harder to keep it in! Yet it was the entire reason the sequel existed! Sigh...
The saddest irony no one brings up is that basically no one is supposed to live in these films. No matter what choices they make. They're screwed regardless if they're being saved or not. I think the only thing that works is if you're not on death's list at all. Even then, you still gonna die anyway. Its kind of a sad and depressing outlook but it is true.
Great breakdown, reaction and analysis (I just joined your channel fam). This is my second favorite film in the Final Destination series. That surprise ending, finding out that part 5 was actually prequel (Or the true part 1), was "Mind-Blowing." "I love this film" - Definitely makes the series a TRUE-HORROR-CLASSIC series.
Death basically knew he'd choose to go to France so it tied them into another list it had started, to get the job done, the first Final destination list or so we thought.. So it makes you question, did Alex truly start it all or by them choosing to go to France was he just part of a ripple effect. Would any of them have still died and gone through the first movie had they not got on the plane to do his internship.
I myself used to be a gymnast when this movie came out. So easy to say Candice's death hit close to home 0_0 I even have made a fall once, similair to hers. However I did not land on my chest/neck but rather on my stomach. It was a miracle I hadn't broken my ribs or develop a pneumothorax. Peope debate wheneither her way of folding up like that is possible or not. I would say it CAN but it's very unlikely. Never underestimate the force that comes loose when swinging the body around a bar like she does. All that force lands on your body when it's stopped (the floor) and the angle you land on might not help. I do wonder why there is no landing mat there. It's there at 18:15 but when Candice performs, it's suddenly gone. Seeing this movie in the theater was an absolute blast. When at the end Alex and Carter showed up, people gasped and freaked out, pointing at the screen. 'FLIGHT 180, IT'S FUCKING FLIGHT 180" While I was sitting there like "nani the f(*)ck??"
I love your reactions and I had my eyes done before COVID happened. My eyes are still good. After you get them done you can see good. After your eyes heal you get 2020 vision weeks later.
final destination movies are cheesy horror flicks but this last one had a great twist. first time i watched it, i noticed immediately about the lack of current era type of things like the phones. i thought it was just something that they didn't had any use for so there wasn't any until the end reveal. this is how you end a franchise.
1 - 86. People on bridge - Killed in bridge collapse 87. Candice Hooper - Back split in gymnastics accident 88. Isaac Palmer - Head crushed by Buddha Statue 89. Olivia Castle - Fell out window 90. Roy Carson - Head impaled by sharp hook 91. Dennis Lapman - Face split open by wrench 92. Peter Friedkin - Stabbed by large skewzer 93. Guy in orange - Sucked out of plane 94. Molly Harper - Spit in half by plane wing 95. Sam Lawton - Burned in plane crash 96. - 379. Burned in plane crash 380. Nathan Sears - Crushed by plane wheel
I think this might be the only franchise where the fifth film is the best. My bff and I saw this joint in the theater when we were about 16, I believe.
Well when it comes to 5th movie installments, I actually enjoy Scary Movie 5 even though a lot of people for some reason hate that movie. The Forever Purge which is also the 5th Purge movie also in my opinion really good. I also enjoy Fast 5 aka The Fast and the Furious 5.
The guy that died on the massage table was by far my favorite lmao even my mom loved his character. He was so entertaining and wished he got more scenes in this. Overall this was an upgrade from 4.
I completely agree with you, I did like the characters in this one, is better than the 4 (all are bad, even the main characters), and some of the death are over the top for me, but I love 2 and 3, the 1 is the foundation to everything
All the fine destination took place in Vancouver Canada. And that's actually a real bridge in Vancouver Canada. I actually have all the Final Destination movies on DVD when DVD was actually popular. Now I all of them on Vudu. And I enjoy y'all reaction to all of them. And no I'm not in Canada I'm in Philly.
like i've seen the boys, i've watched stuff like the 2013 evil dead in terms of the gore, but for some reason final destination 5 death scenes make me cringe. maybe it's to do with the cinematography and the colour palette reminding me of 2011 really or something
The detective was so wasted in this movie imo. They built him up to play a big factor in the finale and did nothing. Very bad writing and his character was proven to be pointless which sucks. The 2nd FD was silly lmao. The 3rd one is far better than the 2nd imo. 3rd felt much more scarier and the horror element from the 1st returned.
This movie turning out to be a prequel to the first film was such a great surprise. And I had already enjoyed it before learning that

The one with Mary E Winstead ❤️ and roller coaster 🎢 disaster, numerous fav kills, and this movie are favourite _Final Destination_ movies
Courtney B. Vance is the actor. He's married to Angela Bassett. Preacher's Wife, The People Vs O.J. Simpson, Law & Order Criminal Intent.
I’m always like, uh that’s Angela husband 😂😂😂
can't believe it was a prequel to the first final destination.

If You kill somebody with no illnes i Guess You take them lives
Kinda like life itself
I love how Candice is folded up like origami and someone still saying "someone call 911" as if she's save able 🤣
Well u have to still call proper authorities anyway
It's very remenisent of when Kinney is killed by Ed-209 in Robocop "Someone get a Paramedic"
I mean…they still have to call 911 tho
13:14 foreal if he premeditated the bridge to collapse, then he wouldn’t have got on the bus to begin with

FD5 is one of the best movies out of the franchise!! They need to hurry up and release FD6 already. I think it comes out in 2023
I love your reactions and I had my eyes done before COVID happened. My eyes are still good. After you get them done you can see good. After your eyes heal you get 2020 vision weeks later.
Honestly, I consider 1, 2, and 5 to be a trilogy
I can agree to disagree
Add the 3rd one and it’s a quadrilogy. We don’t talk about the fourth one
Yeah bc those 3 are the only ones connected to each other
@@thedude8457 4th was best besides first punk
5, 1 & 2*

Love the song choices death makes in these lol

He was nothing but a perverted creep. How could you or your mom like him?
Definitely one of the better sources of comedy from the Final Destination Franchise!

the nail part gave the chills

This one had the 2nd best premonition death scene. The thing is to make it feel believable deaths and this one gave it
The Sydney Opera House design on the tshirt looks nice.
Great reaction this one the first and the second are my favorite 🔥💯
My fav franchise in FD ❤️
They should have shut that bridge down lol under construction they can find another way to get to where they going. Always another road or bridge lol
I’m sorry but this is my favourite one.. I like it more than the first
Best accent in the world.. your 2 accents… the best… what is y’all accent called??? It’s most New Zealanders favourite
In this one i liked the deaths and the ending showing it to be a prequel but i didn't like the characters. For me 2 and 3 are by far the best.

24:39 Same. I already hate needles so this is just.... no. Just... no
they are suppose to make a final destination 6
Yes they are, even got confirmation by a producer I believe. He commented once on a reaction vid to FD before
Where it at tho?
I love your videos you're my favorite RUclipsr
This one is the best and I will fight anyone 🤣🤣🤣😘
Well we fighting cuz 1 & 4 are best
This movie is a prequel to the first movie

Final destination 1 has the most kills because of the plane explosion
The number of the bus is 1282 = 1+2+8+2 = 13
So the correct other would be 5,1,2,3,4
Death wins Fatality Flawless Victory
I believe they're working on FD6
Yo man u gotta react to maze runner triology
30:11 Another happy landing
21:00 yeah, and then she got finished by the routine.......

its not even close to the biggest death total. the plane had 200+ people die
