I am not going to lie but your videos inspire me to practice and tryout for my middle school quad section and practice so I can be great like the drum line in this video. I also subbed and liked your jig 2 videos, and thanks for the inspiration.
I am humbled to know that my actions have helped you! Work hard and take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves as well as making your own opportunities through your hard work and you will be great! I appreciate you taking time to comment and for watching! I am actually editing the next Jig 2 video as I write this to you! Maybe you will be first to see it! Take care!
Guys I'll be honest with you I'm a marching band member here In the Philippines in my school and I am playing ''quadra'' and my favorite music that we have is Jig 2 so thank you guys:)
When I watched the other videos of this school doing jig 2 I thought they were ok, but nothing to freak out about. This is amazing. You’ve really cleaned up. The bass parts are great and the tenor solos are near perfect.
This is the only school that should be allowed to play jig 2 Bc it’s so damn cringey when every other school does and I’m so thankful our school doesn’t
Daniel Unger that’s a great idea! Do you think that they’d let me in to video the rehearsal? That would be cool and make some great videos. Thanks for watching!
Bob I absolutely love the OMMB! A question. If you are the director how would you teach someoneone new to tenors this song? I'm pretty okay on everything through the "Mary had a little Lamb" sequence, but beyond that my sticking goes pfffft. These kids absolutely rock (no pun intended)
Hemi Price I know i’m not the guy you’re looking for but here’s my two cents...if you are trying to teach someone completely new to tenors this, it may be in your better interest to teach something easier to build speed. however, if you still insist upon teaching, simply get yourself or one of your better players in front of a tenor with this video slowed down and learn it to the best of your ability, them teach it.
Jig 2 has always had some pretty weird sticking and to make it look good, some parts of it we have even tried applying paradiddles to allow a hand to get to the 4th drum. The sticking that we use it whatever makes it easier to play, so once you figure out the right drums I recommend you just go through it and use whatever sticking works best.
I appreciate the question. I’m neither a director nor drum instructor just the videographer! I’m sure you’ll get better with practice. The students at OM learn it by ear as they have done for years. I think someone transcribed it and has posted a video on RUclips. Best of luck playing our little cadence. Keep the Jig alive! Thanks for watching!
Deweydown I first shared Jig 2 on RUclips in 2011. I had videoed it in prior years as well. As far as I know Jig 2 originated at Oak Mountain. It certainly was shared worldwide first by me and has had millions of views and been played in many countries and across the US. Thanks for watching!
the more and more you blabber, the more and more we don't care if your trying to make us think it not cool but otherwise, have a good day random person

This is the only school that should be allowed to play jig 2 Bc it’s so damn cringey when every other school does and I’m so thankful our school doesn’t

Weird thing to say but our drumline got best in class at the Hoover met competition that you guys went to. We showed out lol
Thanks for watching!
This is my new favorite Jig 2 video! Have you ever considered going to a DCI show and filming some warmups? I think you would do a great job!
Daniel Unger that’s a great idea! Do you think that they’d let me in to video the rehearsal? That would be cool and make some great videos. Thanks for watching!
@@bwfitz yes as long as you ask a staff member beforehand they should be fine with it!
I wish the marching band im in had more people cause at the moment we are 12
ipoped_ ur_mom I’m the only quad in my band so playing jig 2 sucks when you can have more then one quad play it. But it is still fun
This is rhythm satisfaction
Nooooooossa,VOCÊS ARRASAM!!💞👏👏👏
I didn't know brandon started playing tenors
Ikr
well atleast someone noticed my comment
What was the first tune called before jig 2? 0:10-0:40
Jig
The snares played a thing called the ten second lick. At least it’s something like it or inspired by it. It’s pretty sick.
Thanks for watching!
I would like to see you live :D
If you attend the Oak Mountain HS football games you have a great chance to see me there! Thanks for watching!
That one snare kid is the result of watching the movie drumline
They brought back the 10 second lick 🔥

First of all they are not called songs they are called cadences and they have sheet music and old teonors

the third guy killed it:D
There are two types of men in this world, the nerdy loser band kids, then these omega Chad's right here.
2 years ago I tried to do this on a triplet drum and deym my coach said to me why was I hiding my potential😂
The crash cymbals player looked so depressed
This is a legacy
