Hilarious testing of the package! It is however, how some transport companies handle goods, especially if it states that is fragile. Thank you for this awesome demo!
The problem is, he has not shown how to pack multiple items like plates, or items with handles, like teacups. I am not sure the "abuse" test would work in those cases...
My brother-in-law had a job loading trailers with parcels, his instruction was to build a wall of parcels as high as he could (he is 6 feet 4 inches) with regular shaped parcels it was eight feet high, ten feet from the back of the trailer. The rest of the loading team were instructed to throw the parcels over the wall, this was repeated until the trailer was full. Some of the parcels could reach a height of 14 feet and then have 5 kilo parcels thrown on top of them. Your dynamic test is accurate.
USPS has broken 3 out of my last 4 glass items. I'm going to follow your advice here going forward and hopefully they don't break any more! Thank you. I love you prep the item behind you I'm going to start doing that.
Thank you so much for this. I have a small online business had a couple online orders break in transit. I put my heart and soul into my business so it’s really heartbreaking to see. Not to mention I take those orders as a loss and bad reviews can damage your reputation. I’ll definitely follow your tips for next time!
One issue I would point out is not using a box is oversized. Void fill isn't necessarily intended to be protection material. It is intended to help brace the item and help it retain its position. My personal rule is 2 inches of bubble on all sides of the item. Then try to find the closest sized box that matches the bubble wrap. Then as you pointed out it is important the packing peanuts are tightly packed. When you opened the box at 3:05 the packing peanuts were compressed because there was enough room for them to move and break down.
Just bought 20 pieces of potter to resell and was nervous about packing them. Don’t think I need to watch another video on how to ship after this. I’ve heard shippers should pack breakables as if they will be thrown around a lot. This pretty much covered that! Awesome video. Thanks for sharing it.
haha i was looking for how to pack my parcel safely as my customers complain regarding they receive broken packages so i stumble upon this videos with the proof that it would no breake during delivery thanks
EXCELLENT! Loved your creativity in testing! This clip would be unbeatable if you proposed 2 -3 replacements for peanuts. I don't have any at home and need to send some porcelain fast. And no need for two boxes. Anyway, I'll recommend this to friends.
Great video and kicking in the box outside was Hilarious but the downside is that that item is really small compared to the box Which can cost a lot more and end up eating all your profits especially when you shipping a 20 item
So, if the items are ceramic, glass or any fragile,. If I don't keep any space in the box, then it would be safe, right?? Please confirm... I'm getting serious issues 🥺🥺
It's a problem that we cannot pack smaller, we treat the box gently because we know what's inside. The post office though, is forced to power through an endless stream of parcels so they cannot afford to slow down to be cautious. And like another commented pointed out, the ridiculous overkill of padding volume adds greatly to the shipping cost.
How do we pack if we have bubble wrap but no peanuts as shipping multiple items in same box?? Will scrunched up newspaper in-between bubble-wrapped items and around outer parts of box \ help the items from moving and provide enough protection to submit to your test?
What would you suggest for a more delicate item with thin glass pieces like a small, extremely fragile glass horse as the legs stick out with no rigidity?
Jesus, I will send this on VHS to all the stingy criminals who have allowed sloppy delivery guys to poke holes in my collection to save 0.05$ on foam peanuts! (VHS for the additional scare factor)
Hi, if we concern about environment esp. Plastic and microplastic issue, then how the safest way to package fragile item which is totally eco friendly? Because bubble wrap has already been a problem & harm our nature. Many of us just throw it off in the garbage after unboxing.
Okay! Question! I just sold a Lenox porcelain carousel on eBay and it has a little star ornament on top. How do you protect little fragile parts like that without putting pressure on it in packing?
Hi, thanks for the explanation. but I'm wondering, I sell dishes online and I put more than one dish in a box. It is not cost effective for me to send one piece in a box. How would you suggest wrapping a set of 4 plates. It's been a struggle. I've tried bubble wrapping each one and they still end up breaking very often. any ideas?
The "testing" of the box is what I imagine some mail services do in their breaks.
Lol, right?
Hilarious testing of the package! It is however, how some transport companies handle goods, especially if it states that is fragile. Thank you for this awesome demo!
The ending did it for me!😁 Loved it
You came? Me too.
This dude deserve millions of subs, damn that confidence after you packed it :)
The best demo I have ever seen! This shows a lot of confidence in their work

Thanks for the tips! I appreciate that you took the time to show how much abuse that style of packing can really take. That was awesome.
Wasn't expecting the demo lol, great video.
this video took a turn and i'm here for it lol
Ngl the test had me feeling all different types of anxious
Haha! Me too
The ending was the best!

I love you prep the item behind you I'm going to start doing that.
I just started 2 months ago and they just broke another item. I pack that stuff until it felt like a basketball.
The testing part had me rolling on the floor, it is an accurate presentation of French delivery people in action. 😂
I’m watching a normal packaging video. Turn away for one second and then boom 😂😂😂. I love the ending!!!

whispering adventures o
wow.. i am really amazed by how you dare to kick, throw, and even hit your package with golf stick. great
Really glad you enjoyed the video !!!! If you properly pack an item, it will withstand pretty much anything
When you beat the box up it was better than the "Office Space" Printer Scene, lol.
Classic scene..........
That was hilarious, thanks for the tips!
Glad you enjoyed it !!!
LOL! The packing advice was great. The demonstration was a bonus! The ending was a double bonus 😃
This guy has clear challenge for the bad delivery guys that usually plays with your fragile item lol

OUTSTANDING packaging video & believe me that's how shipping companies treat boxes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have certainly seen some shipments that look like they went through our demonstration. Thank you for watching !!!
Best video I’ve seen on shipping fragile items! First glass item I have sold broke during shipping. Won’t happen again!
That demo gave me SO much anxiety-- I'm taking my reaction as sign that I'm probably not packing my ceramics good enough! Thank you!
After seeing you kick the box around a few times, I was sold.
OMG hahaha. I am 100% convinced. I was freaking out watching you hit it with a bat and then gold club. lol. Great video. Thanks a lot!
That’s the best video I’ve seen in a while. So funnnnyyyy o my gee
Glad you enjoyed it !!!

No need to be nervous. As this video shows, if packed correctly these packages can handle almost anything. Good luck with your sales.

Egg cartons stuffed with paper are a great substitute for peanuts.
LOL!! the testing made me rewind to get a second look of what was inside. LOL wait a minute nie!
Thanks for the lesson and the laugh, reminded me of the movie Office Space when they beat the crap out of the printer. 🍻
Thank you for your instructions and also the demo at the end!
Hahaha! Now that's a demo video. The ending is hilarious! LOL
Who knew antique dealers would have such a sense of humor
Love it.. although you should have had a UPS driver come in and show some real 'love' to that box!
WOAH. You really tested it 😂 great tips!
Great video and kicking in the box outside was Hilarious but the downside is that that item is really small compared to the box Which can cost a lot more and end up eating all your profits especially when you shipping a 20 item
I love the box torture part 😂
This helped me, and also gave me a laugh. Thanks!

So, if the items are ceramic, glass or any fragile,. If I don't keep any space in the box, then it would be safe, right??

The challenge is, how to pack it safely and ensure that it's cost-efficient, especially for low-profit items such as ceramic dish plate,s etc.
You golf like a pro..............Thanks for the video.

Thanks exactly what I needed to here!

Awesome video! Thanks so much! 💜
