From what I know it was repainted in 84, there's a few crows feet on front bonnet and a blemish here and there but it's held up really well considering. Your right in saying heat will escape out of cut away on bonnet and it might help cool carb hat to haha extra bonus👍
Hey Jason, I'm so glad to help anytime mate:-) :-) Baskerville looks to be an awesome circuit, I've watched an rx 7 triple rotor go round and love the layout. The car looks unbelievable in every sense and it's got the recipe to go fast now as well. Another top entry into the griffs rear mount turbo series. Can't wait to see the results mate :-)
I've only being to a handful of tracks and this is very special for me, there's a amphitheatre feeling about it, surprisingly gentle on cars for a race track. You should be proud of the hat Simon, everyone that's seen it in the flesh love it, now the bonnet is on well what can i say bloody awesome... Thank you sir..
Hey gg, good onya mate for your inputs to this awesome guy and machine, It's a proud moment to hear your name being mentioned by Griff on here I've got to say :-) cheers mate :-)
WOW bud that's looking and sounding awesome !!!! Good luck mate, don't forget, baby steps, but I don't need to tell you that !! Seeya Rob........hey Neat hope your very well mate !!!
Let's just skip e85 and go straight to methanol hahaha... Jks that would be sick though. Hope your running some fuel filter/s with the fuel system Griff. I've had experience with e85 and it can be dirty and sometimes have water in it..... Just looking out for ya mate ;)
Stunning looking paint job, the GTS looks great, and a great escape for the hot air from the engine))
I'm still watching the video )0

Hi Griff.
Have you done a video on your engine oil cooler setup?
Your garage looks better than my house. :(

Sounding very nice on e85, Baby steps definitely, there's no pressure tomorrow at all just enjoy pottering around the track, cheers Griff..
Sounds amazing. There’s something very special about Holden V8’s. Do you run a special camshaft for the turbo as a posed to an N/A engine?
No special cam it's a crane , 230@50 intake and exhaust, 496 lift 112 lobe Sep, rev range 3000-6000 na hydraulic lifter.. Thanks mate..
She sounds Awesome , even though videos aren't the same as hearing it in person
