      Nah, not really most of the actual best soldiers know better than to join the empire's canon fodder. The stormtroopers are good by all rights but no better than realistically attainable skills.
      The helldivers on the otherhand are basically super human by the things they're able to accomplish. Death troopers are a closer analog to helldivers but they're still not quite on that level.
      Divers regularly fight through situations where they are outnumbered by ridiculous amounts of enemies, like hundreds if not thousands. Stormtroopers do what their namesake implies, swarm you from all angles with overwhelming force.
      Basically the Stormtroopers might be able to pull it off but they'll need a ton of extra support and way more groundforces. Diver's personal arsenals are still leagues better without support from their ships, good enough to get the jobs done when support gets knocked out for whatever reason. The same can't be said for those poor troopers.

    I think one thing you might be missing is how speciest Super Earth is. It's even in the game itself, that even talking to an alien is considered treason and should be punished by death. So basically anyone who isn't human would not want to join and might even be able to convince people to join the empire in order to fight against Super Earth.

    • @joedepersiis9150
      @joedepersiis9150 21 день назад +28

      I think another point of contention would be with the force. If you are speaking of the expanded universe, Super Earth wouldn't be able to use the force, and we have reason to believe this. When. The Yuuzhan Vong invaded from outside the main Star wars galaxy, they found out that they were both unable to use the force, but we're also immune to it. Granted I don't think that would help the helldiver's much, because the Yuuzhan Vong tech was entirely biological, and therefore had their immunity/inability, as opposed to the helldiver's wearing tech that can be push/pulled/manipulated with the force.

    An interesting fact about helldivers space combat is that we know that there are dedicated space combat ship like the liberty class cruiser, and that they are incredibly effective (at least in the helldivers universe) bc helldivers are only deployed to planets where super earth has complete space superiority as super destroyers in low orbit would be incredibly vulnerable to other star ships. And super earth can establish space superiority pretty mush as soon as a supply line is opened up from another planet.

  • @Average-Illinoisan
    @Average-Illinoisan 21 день назад +80

    Role-play aside, yeah, Super Earth is kinda evil with how they deal with other species. However, it isn't as bad as you make it out to be.
    Firstly, the Cyborgs were the ones who initiated conflict against Super Earth. Cyberstan was originally a mining colony with very harsh conditions, which led the miners to have to get cybernetic limbs and whatnot due to losing limbs. It started when the Cyborgs, who at that point held very different beliefs than Super Earth. So they took the opportunity to break away from Super Earth while they were dealing with the bugs, believing Super Earth wouldn't go after them since they were already at war with something else. They were wrong.
    Secondly, the Terminids, though not inherently evil, were a highly invasive and slightly aggressive species that happened to have a very unique blood type. But that wasn't the reason for the start of the war. It was pretty much just for territorial reasons originally and to get rid of the invasive Terminids, but by the end of the war, Super Earth had discovered the special properties of the Terminids' blood. Which Super Earth then began to contain and genetically modify the bugs to not be hostile anymore. Which then allowed them to farm the Terminids, just like we do with cows and other livestock.
    Lastly, the war against the Illuminate was not started instantly, but it was very quick and was sparked when Super Earth High Command had discovered the Illuminate's Planet-Buster bombs, (not fake information by the way, they actually did have those) which were a huge national threat. (and also a really good excuse to invade) which led Super Earth to believe the Illuminate were "plotting against them" and got pretty paranoid about the Illuminate's tech before declaring war against them, and from what I understand, pretty much just to steal their tech not because they were a threat. Plus, it says in the lore that the Illuminate were forced to sign a treaty that made them hand over all their tech and be forced to leave the Milky Way and never return. Which is pretty messed up, but at the very least, they didn't genocide them.

      @@David-jt9ntnot really. One star destroyer should be worth multiple super destroyers considering the lore. This isn’t counting cruisers, the eclipse star destroyers which are planet busting star destroyers with a death star laser attached. For every type of ship that super earth has the empire has a more powerful ships. Lower-end ships for the empire would be almost on the level of a potential cruiser from super earth. As for ground battles i definitely see hell divers beating out storm troopers for a most part.
      The weapons of the empire are way more potent. For reference in lore(cannon lore or the only lore we have to go off) blaster bolts are as fast as light. And turbo lasers output more power than the largest nuke we have with modern technology.

    • @David-jt9nt
      @David-jt9nt 2 дня назад

      @martinezseymore3007 assuming those numbers are accurate the laser on each super destroyer (remember the weakest combat ship in the super earth navy) has a around 22 terawatt laser that it can bring to bare, and with an ISD2 turbo laser being around 20 TW based on what we have seen it do on screen the ISDs are going to have a fight

    • @martinezseymore3007
      @martinezseymore3007 2 дня назад

      @@David-jt9nt i never assumed anything in official lore they are known to glass planets. We don’t see this in movies or tv shows because they aren’t told to in the movies or on screen in general. A isd is calculated to have around 450 terrawats of power in a single blast as a low ball and a low end scale. And books actively state star destroyers can turn the surface of a planet into slag. Not multiple are needed to do this just one. This is in official lore but the numbers i gave you earlier were a estimation for the lower end based on the asteroid destruction seen in the empire strikes back. But if you don’t believe
      The Bounty Hunter Wars Book 2: Slave Ship, page 248 describes the recoil of a turbolaser cannon:
      The laser cannons being mounted into the open skeletal frames required bracing and recoil-dissipation casings that would have withstood explosions measured in the giga-tonnage range. Anything less, and a single shot fired in battle would rip a destroyer or battle cruiser in two, a victim of its own lethal strength.
      This implies that the energy release from a turbolaser cannon is comparable to the detonation of a bomb with a yield of at least one gigaton (one thousand megatons). This translates to >4.186E18 joules. This is almost twice the estimate presented above (in relation to Base Delta Zero operations performed by 200 cannons). This is acceptable, since the estimate presented above for melting a planet's surface is very conservative, perhaps by an order of magnitude (this reference was provided by Ethan Platten).
      Curtis Saxton has also produced figures for the power of the Death Star's superlaser. These are also lower limits. He says that enough energy has to be applied to cause the entire mass of the planet to reach escape velocity, so it will not fall back together. He states:
      An approximate figure for the binding energy of Alderaan is:
      U = 2.4E32 joules.
      The superlaser burst is released over a period of somewhat less than but approximately equal to a second. Therefore the power of this weapon, which needs to exceed the power dissipation rate of any deflector shields of the target, is at least of the order of 2E32 W which expressed in Gigawatts is:
      2E23 GW.
      This is just the energy required to destroy the planet, with the fragments being ejected at escape velocity, which would take hours to complete. Alderaan was destroyed in seconds, so the power level of the weapon is much greater than Mr. Saxton's estimated lower limit. A possibility also exists that the Death Star was not firing at maximum power. Nevertheless, even the low 2.4E32 joule lower limit is approximately 522600 times the power output of Earth's sun!

    Biggest gripe I have on this whole fight is space superiority. Whoever controls space control everything, for example yes helldivers are stupid powerful with there strategems. But 1 start destroyer is enough to just 1 hit the regular super destroyer. and without any strategems, orbial support, and air support, there just regular soldiers with regular guns.
    Now for the SEAF there just going to get destroyed due to the empire space supremacy with the use of orbital bombardments. even if your already invading a planet having no supplies due to the empires blockade and constant orbital bombardments will just tire you out till you either surrender or all get exterminated.
    This was a cool experiment of which fighting force would win. But the biggest deciding factor was who would control the space. And sadly for the helldivers the empire would just easily take that spot. There entire military is completely focus on there Navy than ground troops.

First, the Empires initial cleansing and subsequent continuous monitoring and collection of force sensitive individuals means Super Earth could take years to learn about the existence of the force, and even longer to realize the possibilities. Since they don't have midichlorians, they would have to breed them in by mixing with locals or devise some way to find out which conscripsts are force sensitive.

    I think that, initially, Star Wars is just going to be too advanced in space combat to ever lose battles without some huge numerical advantage for Super Earth. On the ground though, the Empire's equipment has been proven to be ineffective to projectiles and their fire rate and range is ridiculously low.

      They're also killed by blaster fire at close range by clones. Yeah Obi-Wan, Yoda, Mace Windu, and some of the better ones might survive against divers. But they are almost never alone. When they are, the common jedi gets cut down pretty quick by concentrated fire from multiple angles. Even some of the greatest went down because of order 66. Numbers, concentrated fire, and the element of surprise almost wiped out the jedi.
      But we're talking about the sith. Who operate on the rule of 2. Theres only 2 of them. I highly doubt even Vader would stand up for too long against divers it might take hundreds or even thousands, but there are hundreds of millions of divers alone.
      Super earth's soldiers dealt with precognicient beings once and they did it well. I don't think super earth would have a walk in the park fighting the empire, or even that it would be easy. I think super earth would have the hardest fought victory it's ever had but it will eventually be victorious.
      Super Earth has manpower on near Tau level from Warhammer 40k.
      Essentially meaning they've hit a critical mass with their population. Where in spite of the fact that they're at war on two fronts the population is growing rather than shrinking. Meaning more men are approaching the coming of age to serve than is feasibly plausible to kill quickly enough to drop the population by any percentage. Because in the time it takes to kill one diver hundreds maybe even thousands of people are hitting service age for the divers.
      Basically it won't matter if the star wars empire even has vastly better ships they would eventually be ground into nothing by an enemy who can't be strong armed, or outright overwhelmed, who steals pieces of their tech every time they fight, eventually becoming on par or worse than them, super earth's ships are real war machines intended specifically for war. Where as the empire builds their's for intimidation. Super earth is also far better suited to fighting an enemy force of equal or greater numbers than the star wars empire with Vader and Emperor Palpatine.
      The star wars empire was always the only big fish. It has no real wartime experience. Crushing rebels isn't quite the same as taking on a fully developed society with all of its own internal logistics. Rebels lose not because they lack numbers but production. They severely lack in their ability to construct ships at a pace necessary to win. So they lose over and over again. 😂

    • @JamesMeadows-b4b
      @JamesMeadows-b4b 20 дней назад +8

      @realsuperbunnyman2460most combat situations, the Jedi/Inquisitors are supported by multiple soldiers who would be either be trained clones or inquisitorious troopers, who would make the focused fire needed to kill them harder to achieve or maintain. The helldiver's would inflict super heavy losses against base force users, but like the war against the mandalorians, they would still be putting in serious work on any squad level combat (probably not for the total war effort, Jedi are good, but probably only worth maybe 10 or so helldiver's)
      The star wars galaxy has 100 Quadrillion sentients, and has built armies of Quadrillions in the past, like the droid army from scratch in only a couple years. They'd rival the entire imperium of man in population base. The Helldiver's laugh off billions of losses like it's nothing, and between them and SEAF they probably have tens of trillions of soldiers. But in real life war, typically 2 to 10% of the population is recruited, the helldiver's would in all likelihood be dealing with quadrillions of soldiers.
      In the navy star wars ships have vastly greater firepower, a single ISD can glass entire planets even in the newer canon books. When it comes to the number of ships the legends empire had millions of capital ships, but in Canon it's unclear. We can probably assume the helldiver's have superior ship numbers than canon and while weaker than Star wars capital ships, they could still destroy them in large numbers, tho something like the death star would probably be completely untouchable for any conventional attack by their fleets. Also their superior fleet travel means they can concentrate their fleets better to ensure a constant numbers advantage. The helldivers could send their entire galactic fleet to corusant and overwhelm its fleet within hours
      The war would be very bloody for both sides and who ever wins would be dealing with trillions dead, but the winning factor more often I think would the Helldiver's, between their logistical advantage in space, and the fact that they have infinitely bigger morale than the empire. The empire consistently fails to inspire loyalty in any of their generals/soldiers/ and officers given how often they defect. Now imagine what happens when the helldivers try to recruit rebels and citizens of the galaxy with propaganda of a new galactic republic

    12:36 However the Star wars galaxy is much, much larger and arguably much more populous with hive like worlds like Corusant (to which Super Earth has no equivalent). According to a star wars guidebook the Republic had 1.600.000 Member worlds during the Galactic War with the CIS. It's safe to assume most of them remained Loyal to the Empire as they were the ones who voted Palpatine in in the first place. And even if not, the core worlds and inner rim were very much pro empire or at least apathetic to the Empire and they are certainly much larger than the amount of planets Super Earth controls.
    And depending on the timeline, the Empire definitelly enjoyed majority support. Until the destruction of Aldeeran most rich worlds supported Palpatine because he advanced their interests. Most humans supported the Empire because of the Human Supremacy. And most former Pro Republican Worlds supported the Empire because it's the successor of the Republic which won them the civil war against the hated CIS. The early rebellion were pretty much just a few disgruntled Senators who lost their power to Palpatine and former CIS Worlds.

    In order to use the Force, you have to have a natural sensitivity to it. Being from another universe, it's questionable if the Helldivers and Super Earth as a whole would even have the Force in them at all, let alone have the capacity to use it. They'd basically be blank spots to the Force, like looking at a cold spot with thermal vision. So they likely wouldn't be capable of weaponizing it at all.

      False. Characters in Star Wars who are not attuned to the force have been taught to be attuned. Guns have been made in Star Wars that use the force. The force can be measured via technology with scanners through midichlorians. It’s nowhere near as special as people keep saying.

      @@rougarabid What you're describing still relies heavily on people already sensitive to the Force training others and imbuing weapons with Force power. And even then, the upgrade is only temporary. You can't just store the Force into a container, at least not for very long.
      Not gonna sit here and pretend to be the ultimate expert on the subject, but from what I know, the Force is simultaneously way more complicated and way simpler than people make it out to be. It was basically written that way. But one consistent thing is that you can't just teach some random jobber how to use the Force. Certain conditions need to be met. Being in a place strong with the Force for a long time is one such condition.
      Even if Super Earth could do it, which is a big "if," it's not like the Empire will just sit back and let that happen. The Empire would double down on efforts to control planets and areas strong in the Force.
      Also, not necessarily disagreeing with your conclusion on who would win. Just pointing out some flaws in your overall argument. This is all still in good fun, and I'm not trying to be a killjoy. I just think it'd be harder to weaponize the Force than you stated.

We know 2 billion Helldivers have died in the last 7 or so months with no sign of slowing down or them being worried about casualties and they’ve killed 100 billion enemies in the same period. Helldivers are an elite faction of Super Earth and the SEAF which is the main fighting force dwarfs them in numbers. That’s literally all we know. We don’t know how many planets they have or how many they have in reserve. On the Star Wars side no number has ever been given for the amount of troopers. You’re just guessing on both.

    Well the DSS, while much smaller than the Death Star, was built in only a few months. In a leaked video, it’s said the DSS obliterated a small moon in its first test run. Helldivers are also only allowed to fight when total aerial superiority is achieved, meaning every planet they can fight on, their automation or illuminate fleets have already been destroyed. Martechi has some cool concept animations of possible super earth ships. The weapons of super destroyers may also have a slight advantage over Star destroyers, as they have turbo lasers which in the lore are plasma and relatively slow, but super earth ships have railcannons and powerful (and real) laser beams. This is a similarity between the covenant and unsc from halo, as covenant had shielded ships that could still be pierced by MAC cannons.

      @@legitbetterthanvinny9725 really important to know the actual size of the moon. Cause the smallest of moons like Diemos can be destroyed by conventional nukes since it's so small, smaller than 9 kilometers. It has to be smaller than our own moon, so assuming it's half the actual moons size it'd be a little smaller than Pluto. That kinda firepower is somewhat matched by star wars frigates, who can canonically blast melt ice moons 1000 kilometers wide (Star Wars complete vehicles new edition) this is ironically more powerful than just blowing up a 1000 kilometer moon (Edit, I was wrong, still very close, like 2/3s the energy needed)

      @@CorneliusChimp-hm2vo Isn't Complete Vehicles New Edition a Legends lore book? I've heard from more dedicated SW fans that some of the legends numbers are kinda BS.
      I can't recall any onscreen battles where ships engage each other beyond like 10 miles, and you can follow the speed of the lasers fairly easily. When Thrawn bombarded Atollon, they weren't that far off as it only takes a couple hundred miles to orbit Earth, Atollon must be close to earth's size because of gravity. It also took longer than a few seconds for them to come in, but of course editing could been to make it seem longer or shorter for the beams to hit. Plasma is also matter, so it would be assisted by gravity. They are also relatively easy to dodge.

      @@legitbetterthanvinny9725The complete vehicles new edition is canon and was published 2021, you are thinking of the ICS. If you look at how small the earth sized planets are in view for all on screen bombardments, it's thousands of miles away. Remember the ISS is 200 miles above earth and earth covers their entire view from the window. Stuff like the battle of Hoth is shown to be more like 6,000 miles away (we can compare to actual satellite images 6,000 miles away). In the admiral trench arc of the clone wars, in order to hide from an orbiting fleets turbolazers, a republic fleet had to hide behind an actual moon, the average moon is hundreds of thousands of miles away from their planets, if we take the smallest moon to planet distance we know of its still 6,000 miles. This lines up with books like the ROTS novel, where ranges of hundreds of thousands of kilometers are explicitly stated. The small battle ranges and slow moving rounds are simply to look cool on screen

Also if they really wanted to, they could probably mass produce droid armies if they needed to, the CIS canonically numbered in the quadrillions and was made in just a few years (star wars allies and adversaries) and the Empire already uses several droid sentry units regularly. The DT-Series sentry droid was so common it was used to guard unmanned trade vessals. If they're industry matches just 10% of the Canon CIS, the helldivers would be outnumbered in a matter of months
    Spaceship wise the galactic empire in canon had 25,000 ISD and at least 4 times that number in light frigates. In legends the empire had millions of capital ships, canon probably as well since this number likely doesn't count the planetary defense fleets most planets had as personal protection. Canon Ships in star wars are vastly superior to helldivers, with a single ISD being able to glass entire planets in an operation called base delta zero. And the turbolazers on a munificent class crusier, a CIS frigate so disposible it can't even be refeuled, has enough firepower to blast melt ice moons the size of pluto (star wars complete vehicles new edition). They would have trouble dealing with just light frigates, I can't really see them dealing with something like the death star. Also the galactic empire has top tier navy admirals like Thrawn, who would make this power imbalance even more dispraportionate
    Canon Vader and Sidious are insanely strong opponents for the helldivers to deal with, but kinda nonfactors given the sheer scale of the conflict. They could individually slaughter thousands of helldiver's and tear entire starships out of the sky (in a recent canon comic Sidious casually force crushed a Suma verminath, a space beast so big it dwarfs Star Destroyers) but the average planet in helldivers has millions of casualties already. Also inquistors are pretty much irrelevant as well, their terribly inneffective.
    All in all the helldivers are likely outnumbered, or would be the moment the empire conscripts %1 of its population, whcih numbers over 100 Quadrillion. And their spaceships, tho more numerous are far weaker, and as far as I know they don't really have an answer to the death star, so the empire should have the advantage, tho the divers would make it a good fight

Planet covering shield's exist in both legends and canon, important worlds like coruscant have them. Unless the helldiver's have continental or planetary shields, a single canon ISD or handful of frigates could glass planets and achieve the same result within hours without having to make planetfall or waste time breaking down planetary shields

      And they can update their their tech pretty quickly. Super Earth took the Illuminant's technology for curing diseases like cancer, and weaponized it. And then they used it against the Illuminants. I'm pretty sure once they learn of the Death Star, ranged black hole tech will be available next week

      @@mightywizard83 you're only kinda right. Because the population of super earth citizens is literally nutty.
      Hundreds of millions of the helldivers die in campaigns and helldivers couldn't actually be anything more than like 1% of their armed forces. Armed forces have never exceeded 10% in any country ever. So that means the 1% of the 10% are capable of losing hundreds of millions without collapsing in on itself from cost and unsustainable losses.
      Those losses could only be absorbed without consequences by a nation-like entity numbering in the TRILLIONS. Trillions plural, just 1 Trillions is incomprehensible but trillions plural?! Bro you'd have to kill millions of people every second to even hope to keep up.
      Helldivers verse is actually crazy in terms of population for its size. In short form. It might be a smaller loaf but it's far denser.
      The helldivers also fight the automatons. Which by all metrics are far more dangerous than anything the stormtroopers have faced. Bots are also just capable of causing far more problems for the divers than some other dude in roughly equivalent armor. Divers deal with automatons.
      Stormtroopers would get stomped by the bots, those bots aren't b1s. Automatons have better coms, accuracy, target acquisition, and unit cohesion than any biological being short of those possessing "magic" powers. B1s were known to be terribly ineffective but they were super cost efficient. The automatons are war machines and there is no doubt the only thing terrible about them is how efficient they are at murder. Lol

      @@HenryArchive Those weren't technically armed forces, roughly half of the people that were mobilized were mobilized as logistical support. So that means that they were still not even scratching 15% of the population as armed forces. So no, not once ever has any nation had more than 10% of their pop be true armed forces. In the US not even 1% of our population is in the military. Out of those in the military only about 15% of them are combat units.
      We're talking about real fighting men and women not a peasant with a pitch fork or some dude who drives a truck for the army. Soldiers.
      Helldivers are a special forces unit. One capable of sustaining hundreds of millions of casualties in the span of of days without even so much as stuttering from loss. Thats literally insanity. It's far more people than the empire has stormtroopers. I will say again the divers are a force that's at least in the billions. The regular armed forces in the diver's verse far outnumber the diver's so there's absolutely no doubt at all that the numbers are far closer than you think. They're actually likely favoring the diver's verse on shear numbers.
      Smaller loaf, much denser bread.
      Most planets in star wars don't have more than a few million people. In the helldiver verse a hundred million helldivers die for some desert planet. They may not have as big of a territory as the galactic empire but the helldiver verse may very well dwarf it in numbers.

Super Earth also has no idea where the planets are, where the safe places are, and cannot use the lightspeed lanes. The Empire would find out where the portals are and set up perimeters.
    Also, the Empire has the space combat advantage. So...how are the Helldivers going to resupply or use the things they need their ships to deploy...of their ships are destroyed? No ships, no helldivers. I feel the Empire wins this based on that alone

      @RevanReborn3950BBY That's fair. But the Empire has a lot of ships too. If we include the First Order (which we absolutely should) the Empire has a weapon that can wipe out an entire system and a massive fleet anywhere in the galaxy. I also imagine that Super Earth isn't nearly as skilled in small ship to ship combat (though I admittedly don't know) where the Empire has a near endless supply of every type of TIE fighter so my point remains. The Empire wins due to space superiority. Also the Divers could not access, let alone weaponize the force as they have no midiclorians. Cloning won't work nor would a blood transfusion.

    Theirs a a couple interesting things to add on, a lot of the enemy units seem to be based on more clone wars era stuff in helldivers, but still effected by bullets.
    In star wars real guns were entirely phased out and discarded because the basic armor became so advance not even anti-material rifles were useful anymore, they became reliant on entirely this laser plasma mix of blasters which to this day still can't even be entirely garunteed to protect you even with high quality armor like beskar.
    That alone puts helldivers on a 1 to 1 beneath even storm troopers at the start, they do have plasma eletric and gas weapons which should work. Also the storm troopers are more just the army, if were comparing a helldiver to more of a elite force, dark troopers (the old school ones, not those shitty robot ones) and storm commandos are far far more inline with helldivers, having some of the scariest kill-death ratio and extremely convenient weapons on hand.
    The star wars galaxy is also practically 3 or 4 x larger then the helldivers one and would be the biggest problem in even controller a fraction of the galaxy for helldivers, they would have to employ bounty hunters for scouting and missions im sure, but jaba clan is powerful enough that even the super space racism that is the empire wouldn't dare blow up their
    Planets. So im sure it wiuld be a issue, Or a no touch zone.
    Im not really sure what would happen, it depends how well negotiation could be manipulated through palpatine since he basically.. turned a democracy into a full on empire. Maybe they would get along scarily well together and i think palpatine would take over the government underhandedly, or be invited to the circle group of the super earth.
