- What does MBK Center look like now? Today we visited the popular tourist mall to grab some bargains, haggle for prices, and test out the famous food court, which even has Michelin Star street food!
We also visited Silom Morning Market, located in Patpong, as well as the new Don Don Donki department store in MBK Center.

The correct way to ask "how much is it?" is either "tao rhai (ka/krub)?" or "gee baht (ka/krub)?", rather than "tao rhai baht?". "gee" basically means how much/many. The reason why Thai coffee or beverages are sweet Because in the past, most Thai people had a career in labor or farming. In the morning they have to hurry to work. Breakfast must be high energy. And sugar is the easiest and cheapest energy. Thai people at that time liked to eat sweet things so that they could work and fight the heat of Thailand
And if you want to buy cameras, lenses, camera gear, or smartphones and electronics. I recommend a shopping mall called "Fortune town" located on Ratchadaphisek Road. Close to the Jodd Fair market, this mall is a center for computers, photography equipment and electronic products. Both 1st hand and 2nd hand You can take your camera and try on the lens you like if it's a second-hand lens shop. It will definitely save you a lot of expenses.😁😁🙏🙏
That makes so much sense! I’m still getting used to it, in Australia you have to ask for sugar but here you ask not to have sugar so sometimes I forget or I think they don’t understand if it’s a street coffee (which is fine! 😁) I just don’t like sweet so I need to find another coffee 😂😁

During my younger years, MBK was one of the few modern shopping malls in Bangkok. Kenny G, Air Supply and Chicago used to play concerts there. Michael Jackson performs at the stadium next to the mall.

There’s sugar in EVERY coffee!! Hahaha make sure you learn how do day no condensed milk as WELL as no sugar because sometimes they will put no sugar but still put sweetened condensed milk!!! Haha and you’ll be fine ☺️😅👏🏻😁😁

You may write it and show it when you buy coffe ...ไม่หวาน ( not sweet ) ไม่หวานเลย (not sweet at all).....or when you see them pour sugar or sweet milk you can say no in that time.

If u want no sweet “mai wan”. Most thai food and drink u can ask them to adjust for you. Hot, sweet, sour, salty, dry, wet, no skin etc…

@@josieliftsthings glad that help, i would recommend u not to order black coffee likes americano or espresso from cart. Their coffee base is (supreme) dark roast (yeah u cant drink that without sweetness). Its local style xD
