I was drawing the same hand on a character over and over and over! I just couldn't get it right, I looked in the mirror, studied my own hand, and searched for it in my drawing books and couldn't find it! But then I came to Mark, and there it is!
Thank You so Much! You Saved my Character from being deformed!!! :)

Your drawing skills have really helped me draw in school, my class newsletter, and at home where I draw with my brother. Last year I was good, but you have really helped me with this video.(I could not draw hands before this). Thank you! This year I am great at drawing! Thank you! And nice sense of humor!

You have no idea how helpful this was, I struggle with drawing hands but am needing to learn in order to draw more poses. I actually looked at my drawing after following along and already see the improvement! Keep doing what your doing, it’s incredibly helpful and made me feel a lot more confident in my drawing ability!

Jeez, I've been drawing for I think 6 years now. I've always never been to great, and I was always dissatisfied. Everyone that saw my art though said it was amazing, and there was always someone saying "You have a gift", or "Youre gonna be a manga artist for your career". I know that this video was made in 2012, but this, and so many of your videos has actually made me happy with my art. Thanks so much for doing these, and being such a cool guy.
    P.S I LOVE Brody's Ghost, I bought all of them >.

Dear Mr. Mark (& anyone else reading this), I stumbled upon your how-to draw manga eyes video a while back and ever since I have been hooked on learning manga and your videos really helped ^-^ I have been at it for about 3 months now and its all thanks to you, for inspiring me. SO much in fact, that I have started my own channel dedicated to drawing. I just wanted to say thank you, and continue making more videos because they make all the difference in my life.

Is there anyway that you could make a video on leg poses/positions? Like gymnastics or ballet? The elegant forms (stiff or tight, whatever it's called) have always been my favorite.
You videos have helped me improve so much that you've become my second art teacher. All the fun and none of the grades. Yay!

    Dear Mark Crilley
A year ago i started watching your videos. I didnt know how to draw well at all before watching your videos. The proportions were wrong, my faces looked as flat as pancakes, etc. but After awhile my work looks amazing. My friends and i love your work and teaching ability. So to thank you I will buy as many of your books as i can. It will be hard since I dont get money often but its worth it. So thank you for helping me become a better artist.

I cannot thank you enough for uploading these videos and sharing so much with us. I love to draw and a good friend of mine has been teaching me, she had me start out by drawing my left hand over and over in many different positions. The odd shapes and angles are truly tricky but with lots and lots of practice there seems to be improvement. I really am greatful for your videos doing things step by step. Thank you!!!
