These women should take the world by storm, haven't heard better vocals from anyone, they are equal to all the great female vocalists of our time and I include Ella Fitzgerald, billie holiday, aretha, Mary j, randy Crawford, loleatta holloway, India, there's something in their voices that stirs the Anglo-Saxon in me, real English folk at its finest.

wow...this Johnny Handle song about the mining community is as powerful as Ewan Maccoll's best. The Unthanks is the best female vocal folk group in existence and make the Watersons look like amateur night performers (just kidding).
