That's the first time I've seen a JC feather on a Muddler of any kind. On this black one it really does offer a good contrast! I will do up a couple for my box. Thanks Barry!
It's been awhile since I've seen any notifications. I'm glad I got you back. I'm about half way thru your book. Living it. Steelhead season has slowed my reading, and tyeing. To busy fishing.lol
Very clean fly. Your work is awesome. You make it look so easy.lol I'm struggling. But, it's just coming up on one year since I've been tyeing. Love your work.
Thanks Randy, so pleased that they help. and keep practicing. If you wan't to take your tying to a new level, may I recommend: ruclips.net/video/mVLof0uXqyE/видео.html
As always, a super beautiful fly. As a fan of the muddler since always I will try my luck with this one also. I don't have a Jungle coq, too expensive for my wallet, but will find subtitute. Hope all good with you.
@@Thefeatherbender Yes but the JC make a lot of différence. seems to complement the whole fly perfectly. if we don't communicate again I wish you a wonderful holiday season, full of happiness in spite of the world situation. merry christmas
I've had some success with the muddler for brown trout and great lakes steelhead but have always had a difficult time with the deer hair and find it intimidating and frustrating at times.

Стриммер бомба, точно рабочий.
Thank you.
The muddler, it’s the one fly that has caused thousands of divorces. LOL. (Due to all the hair that goes everywhere when you cut it.
Yeah, it can get messy!
