    That’s a good looking fly. One thing I do is I put super glue on the shank to keep their teeth from tearing the milar. Another trick is instead of fighting the end around the eye whip finishing I use my half hitch tool. If you are new to this the half hitch took is the brass tube in your fly kit. There are videos to show you how to use it. Excellent video.

    i started making flies a few months ago, made a few muddler flies now.
    i have to say i just love how you make it look easy to make a fully stuffed muddler head. The ones i've made aren't quite there yet, still have some hairless spots.

    You made look so easy!! I catch more small mouth bass on this fly by drifting it just under the surface in a relatively strong current.

    Hey did you catch that, he slipped that thread up between his thumb and then down to secure the tail fibers, that was new to me me nice.

    The entire presentation of this video is really under par. That piece of marabou he selected was absolutely horrible and had no mass to it. Not going to have any movement under water folks.
