I bought Bengal Spice after seeing it repeatedly mentioned on the BLEO page. I spat out the first sip because it was so sweet and reached out to Celestial Seasonings to find out if they were adding any type of sugar or artificial sweetener. Their response was that it was the cinnamon oil. So then I looked up the ingredients on the BLE FAQs. Bengal Spice contains Carob, which is listed as non compliant.
Thank you, thank you, I was wondering why after 145 days craving started again. When I first tried the Bengal Spice tea I thought I was cheating. I am happy to say I have not given in to the cravings, it has been hard, but now I can get back to being more at peace.
Well, I too was drinking 2 or 3 cups at a time of Bengal spice tea! Very addictive to me. I had to give it up. It was a mystery to me till now! Those sneaky developers!
Thank you. This is so helpful! I think this was happening with my almond milk. It had no sugar/sweetener in the ingredients, but it has natural flavor. I had cravings and was really attached to it. It was also escalating and I started having it at every meal.
I used to drink plain black tea with 3 tea bags per cup! But now caffeine doesn't trigger me. I think I have revolving addictions 🤷. Thank you Susan. I appreciate your research and your help. ❤️💜❤️
Such good info! Thank you! I'm new to BLE Boot Camp and see that many people use dairy as a protein. Now, I understand it's a choice to consume dairy or be dairy-free. I wouldn't mind using "some" dairy but can you please consider speaking about dairy. How dairy is not recommended in diets and that it's not good for you. There is just such an abundance of info out there (sooo confusing) and I'd like to know what your nutrition staff says about eating dairy.

Oh wow. I just tried BSTea at a friend’s house- she was just raving about how good it was. Frankly her excitement was a big red flag to me, so I tried a little bit of it, and sure enough my brain lit up like Christmas so I didn’t drink anymore. I do have a question about the veggie burgers, are we talking about things like tapioca starch? Things like that are listed way at the bottom of the ingredients, but are you saying they still could be triggering?

Interesting, Deborah! Thank you for sharing your findings. 🧡

SO sneaky! 😉
So happy you've addressed the Natural flavors issue. Thank you.
You're welcome, Lori! 🧡

Oh! Interesting, Joelleen! We're glad you made the connection as to why it was escalating. 🧡
Thank you for educating us! I appreciate you more than I can ever measure.

Another EXCELLENT vlog. 💖

Bengal spice tea reminds me of cinnamon gum. Some how they get that sweet cinnamon flavor without calories. Maybe it's sucralose (aka splenda)?

Hi, Laura! Yes, those types of ingredients low on the list may have a negative impact on some individuals similar to how "natural flavors" do. 🧡
OMG! I just had bengal spice tea last night and I am in the boot camp!
That's okay, Baby Lynn! Don't stress it! We invite you to take note of how it affected you. 🧡
What about flavored soda water? I don't know what I would drink...
Exactly. You might want to exercise caution and opt for more plain water. 🥰
You look stunning in that dress!
Same thing with sparkling water with the "natural flavor" in them! I stay far away from them! Besides the pure kind.
