It was fun to watch the friendly competition between y’all. The grinder would definitely be a welcome addition to my small shop. The increase in production that it would bring to my work, would definitely make my work better and faster.
I just recently graduated trade school. I'm educated but hungry for experience. At this point any tool is extremely helpful to furthering my education and experience. I'd absolutely love to have something like that!
After trying to grind with my 1x30 and 4x36 belt sanders, I realized that I really need a 2X72. One of these will really help my work, not to mention save me tons of belts and time! Awesome build to watch.

I have been eye balling these grinders for some time. My garage fab shop is a mix of new, old, and homemade equipment but my old wood style belt sander just isn't cutting it. Thanks for a shot at winning the right tool for the job!
Having this belt sander would improve my workshop hugely since a belt sander is one of the next things I need in my shop, and having a new weld table already I'm going to be welding more and need a handy sander to clean up parts before new jobs!!
I hope that I am able to get one of these grinders one day, it would be a great addition to my blacksmith shop. HouseMade puts so much thought and effort into their design, and he contiues to improve upon it

2x72 grinders are just amazing and the Revolution is for sure one of the top ones out there. I personally use them for knife making but occasionally for welding.
This could improve my life because I’m trying to prepare myself to start up a welding company and this tool could give me beautiful finishes that’ll get the customers coming back for more.

I’ve been fabricating in my own automotive shop for the last few years , and I’m currently going to community college to really dive deeper into the trade. Bring in school and working full time at 22, any tools I can get for a good price is always beneficial to me.
Working on setting up a home shop to start getting some work done! Getting a grinder is the next tool on my list and getting a frame crossed off the the list would be HUGE

Very entertaining and informative! A 2x72 would be sooo much more useful than my little 1x30 I use now!!
Not only would this improve my efficiency over my current 2 x 42 craftsman belt sander, but it's also a plus, considering if House said I was a mediocre welder, I'd take that as a HUGE compliment. I did like the butter spray comment... Learning something every day.
That's a cool idea selling the plans and getting to build yourself. Super affordable that way too!! Looks like it would be an awesome setup for a belt grinder. This would be great for cleaning up burrs on my tubing before I make my frames! Beautiful work! Very elegant!

I like how those grinder frames look, and you guys made it look easier than it probably was to weld together. If I could afford the material to make one I would get 2, and build one for my brother in-law.
Love the concept of the kits and plans. Looks like a beefy grinder. One of these would be huge help in my welding projects. I've tried all kinds of grinders the shop but none as versatile as this one looks.

Winning one of those grinders would exponentially improve my efficiency in my blacksmith/weld shop. From polishing hammer faces and grinding/sharpening knife edges, to smoothing edges, and texturing with coarse grit belts, I could put out better quality with less time, lowering cost for customers and making my margins not so razor thin.

I have a mig, tig, and plasma cutter with no bench grinder of any kind. I've wanted to purchase a belt grinder for some time, but I haven't yet. I plan on putting a roll cage in my Camaro sooner than later, along with a long list of other mods. One of these belt grinders would help me take it to the next level! Fantastic machines! I teach blacksmithing & knifemaking and this machine would be a huge blessing to be able to increase my class size, as I would have one more machine students could work on
This belt grinder would add significant value to my small shop by adding capabilities in shaping and finishing metal. It would definitely increase my productivity for preparing parts to be assembled. I work primarily in aluminum, magnesium and titanium.

I built a 2x72 from plans several years ago, but it does not have the tilt function. Having a tilt function and better tracking adjustment would be huge and help me continue on my craft journey of knife making and general DIY. Cheers!

One of these grinders would really improve my DIY game. From my youngest son and I attempting to learn bladesmithing to better bevels on my other projects.
As I am currently limited to a craftsman bench grinder and a harbor freight 1" belt sander, I've been looking for a good 2x72 for a while. I like to repair and tinker so one of these would greatly expand the range of projects I can do as well as improve the quality of the ones I already can.

I would absolutely love to add that to my new garage/shop being built in the Philippines upon my retirement from United States. Now that I’m retired I can enjoy metalworking in a more pleasant environment with the view of the Mayon volcano right outside my garage/shop.

Nice. Knowing the process is half the battle. Not bad for not knowing how it was made. If I had one of these, I would use it for knife making and it would come in handy to have it for fabrication projects.

I thought Beau and Austin had a leg up with Beau's sweet hat in the beginning. For real! This would be a huge upgrade from my 1" belt sander. The narrow/short belt get too hot and breaks down for my purposes. The horizontal adjustment is another plus! I currently lay mine on its side. (Totally osha approved) I'm continually pushing my art level! As I progress into new material this will be amazing for shaping, clean up, and polishing. I would use this in ways most hadn't thought of. (currently making a pizza slices, would be great to flatten my mild steel and silicon bronze cheese, shape pickles, tomatoes, ect..). I even have a motor someone gave me for when I was able to upgrade and purchase a kit. I'm a team player and would showcase your equipment for my small social following. Sweet set up and way to whip them Brain! Mediocre welds! Can I request Brain's if possible?? 🤣😂😅

Dang this could really help me in my garage fab shop. My hobo freight belt sander took a crap last month. so I’m stuck using a grinder and flap disc for everything.
I built a gen 3 and it already changed my life! Not sure I can handle a gen 5, but I would give all I had!
Need one of these for my home fab shop, would be way better than my little belt sander, I have looked at many out there and haven't bought one yet they get really pricey for sure.

This would be perfect for my shop. I would use it to shape the finest of handle scales. Each with a single strand of Brian’s luxurious hair embedded in epoxy. Also I need some hair so…chop chop big guy.

Awesome grinders! Would help with my blade smithing and leather work. As well as welding. Live in remote Digby, NS, Canada. Work as a full time welder and hobby bladesmith and leather worker. Tons of stuff to do with a rig like that!
