Walaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullah, If your husband holds an TRC then he must be living in portugal I guess. Regarding the area if you find house anywhere in Lisbon go for it. Here in Lisbon we have have the luxury to select the area and demand. Good luck.

Usually slots open for very limited time you have to check frequently. Don't know exact dates.

Jazakallah Khair, Aameen. Kids can get the admission in the school and later you can get the declaration letter from the school at the same time you will look for the Article 92 appointment for your kids. You can also apply for student visa to be legal in portugal.

@@deborahagbo7334 Job seeker is a VISA which you apply from home or residence counties, once you are in Portugal you will look for a job and if you find the job on day of your Biometric appointment you will show all the necessary documents including Job contract. Then you wait for your TRC

Actually not even 2 hours you will get the respond in an hour from Início - IEFP, I.P once you apply for Job seeker visa.
