Nice hunting stories John. I used to hunt with your son Chris in Southern Blackforest/ Germany for quite a bit. Its clear to me now where he get the passion from.
A good camo pattern never gets old. I do have mostly modern archery gear but for rifle hunting I’ve been wearing the same outfit for over 20 years. It’s a real tree advantage timber scent lok outfit that I bought in 1999 or 2000. That pattern fits the mountains of PA better than any other pattern on the market. I’ll wear that outfit rifle hunting until the day I die
@@gsnicholas8522 thats right its crazy some of the prices they want for good camo gear anymore, ive seen 1 outfit at cabelas almost 1000 bucks i just think thats a lil overboard to charge hunters so much but its business i guess
@@conflict7269 it's hard to beat good old fashioned wool for cold weather. All of these new camo patterns are largely unnecessary. A good plaid will work just as well.
John sometimes gets a bad wrap on the internet but anyone who knows him, understands where his mentality comes from. He’s a pretty lethal in the deer woods.
In the picture of the the 3 bucks with John ask John if Don Barlow helped him retrieve that buck lol
I heard Rompola didn't have to hit the snooze button.
Great bucks n stories John congratulations
How about some Xrays? Those 3 deer are far out of the realm of Johns typical harvest...
X-rays are in, turns out you have a Corn cobb up your butt 😄
@@bricehale6593 That was a good one, haha John E taught me that. Said if you did that the deer couldnt smell my farts.
Rompola, why wouldn't he let them xray? Very strange

I still use my old realtree camo and still get deer, its about the tactics not how much money you spend

You’re exactly right. Woodsmanship trumps technology every time.

@@bobo44donemilking51 No problem. Hatred is actually a useful emotion.
@@russelllangworthy8855 I don't hate John ,the last comment I made a week ago you seemed concerned about me so I did it for you Russ lol 😆
@@bobo44donemilking51 Thanks, Boo. That was kind of you. I’m all set in the hate department. As long as Sturgis is around, I have someone to hate. 😀
