This is the kind of fan film you watch on your TV while chilling with your friends, I give this an 11/10
Man if there was a sequel to this thing, one can dream.
A very well made attempt, the voice acting's great and the use of the G1 effects really make this feel like a live action G1 movie that would have been.
I'd watch the hell out of this every week if it were a regular series!

That voice for Shockwave is REALLY good! This is beyond epic!
Shockwave's voice really was the standout. I should've known it was Jon Bailey of Honest Trailers fame! But why didn't you use him for the rest of the voices, just cost? It really was a near-perfect impression of Corey Burton!

This wasn't at all what I thought it would be when RUclips recommended it. It was better. The closest I have to a complaint is that for such a G1 cartoon love letter, Laserbeak didn't, well, pwn. Since that's pretty much all he did in the cartoon.

If only we could have some of that sort of original feel in the movies. I love the transformers but wouldn't dream of wasting my money on another Michael Bay movie.

13 minutes of this has more spirit than the soulless 13 hours that Michael Bay has produced.

I think it is the OST that brings it so much close to the feels of the original
Very well done. The effects might not be the best, which is to be expected, but you stayed true to G1, putting the right music at the right time and you told a way better story than all of the mediocre Bayformers films combined in just 13 minutes as opposed to the two hour long live action films.

That's weird. I always knew the "pile of scrap" as "hardcore design". I always though G1 robots looked like "piles of boxes".
Anyway, I don't understand why can't you just enjoy both. The cartoon and the movie series have their good and bad moments.
G1 Transformers was my favourite thing in the world as a kid. You guys deserve all the awards for this production.
Wow... I'm actually very impressed! Managed to sit through the entire bit. Really well done guys. Hope to see the continuation to this episode, soon. Kinda felt like I was watching a cool Power Ranger's type of show, with the cool robot costumes and all. For what it is, this turned out to be much more compelling and entertaining than Michael Bay's Transformer films. I'm being totally serious about that.
Unlike his movies, I can sense this show has heart and soul put into it.
Some of the voices were pretty good too. Especially for Optimus, Shockwave and Star Scream. Again, great job. Thanks for sharing this with us.

This is really fantastic.Truly amazing what you've been able to do with cg augmented practical effects. The voice approximations of the original VO cast are really quite good as well.
Looking forward to the next one, although I imagine it takes a looong time to make one of these!

From certain angles Bumblebee looks like a Volkswagen beetle pickup.
My friend and I have incorporated this into one of our TF storylines. I enjoyed it much more than I do the official live action movies.

this was very well made!!! the practical effects were stunning, the costumes were a bit block but the mouth animations gave them more personality, and the voice acting was very good. its bin a while since u last put up a video and I can't wait for part 2!!! and please include Soundwave!!!!!

Did you guys lift sound clips from the show?? That Megatron voice is on point!! You have no idea how much it hurts me to praise Megatron in the slightest LOL. This was fantastic. I could totally see this on Adult Swim. My only criticism, which can not be helped, is that Peter Cullen is the only voice of Prime. Marc DuBos did a great job, but he's no Mr. Cullen. No offense. All in all, I absolutely LOVED this.
