How to get to Mirage Island in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald!

ERROR IN VIDEO: USE FRAME 18626 NOT 18625
In this video I will demonstrate how to RNG yourself to Mirage island in the GBA games of Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald.
To follow this tutorial you will need to at least have a copy of Pokemon Emerald and a GBA pokemon game with a dead internal clock (can be the emerald)

You can RNG wild pokemon as well for the mirage island PID, correct? I know that wild pokemon have frame delays because of sweet scent (261 if anyone was wondering), and I personally want a shiny starter.

TheGuardianPotato you could. You would need to use the same methodology but search in method 4 frames iirc

So I've caught a kecleon using this tutorial on my dry emerald, hitting frame 18626 (the one with the 0000 PID) and nothing happened in either my emerald or my ruby. Any ideas? Also, why do you show setting the target frame as 18626, yet you mention frame 18625 in both your voiceover and the text on screen? Should i have gone for that instead?

Good catch! You can make sure you have received the correct pokemon by checking Nature. 1826 was the correct frame so you would want Hardy. If this pokemon doesn't activate the Mirage island in your game then the most likely cause is that you didn't start the game with a dead internal battery. If this is the case the mirage island seed will be stuck at whatever it was the day your battery did die. To fix this you would need to start a game on a dry battery

Alex Rivera the RNG only works in emerald but the Pokémon would work in a copy of ruby
