So jealous right now!! Couldn't convince the wife to let me go on a run when we visited NYC last winter and we were even staying on the Upper West Side, 3 blocks from Central Park. One day...
Running is great hobby. I like consuming spaces when I'm running with beautiful scenery. And he looks much happier when running along the Hudson river than on the treadmill.
People don't want to pay $5/month for the app but want to pay $130 for SL2s. Other people pay for the Supwell app and get tipped off to $47 SL2s and save $83. Barefoot mafia will never learn
agreed! been on the app for a week and already got 4 pairs for a steal! only downside is theres no stopping and ill be buying lots of shoes i dont even need!
I run the west side highway almost every day! It’s pretty slippery all winter especially the section you were talking about but even more so when it’s below freezing
I just picked up the Bondi 9. The foam is way better than v8 👍. Any chance you’re gonna check out the 880v15 haha. If you do, hopefully it’s better than v14
I 100% agree with you on running gear. It really doesn’t matter. I generally wear clothes that I wear to the gym when I go out to run. the only running gear that does matter though is cold gear if you’re gonna try to run in the cold, you need to be properly attired (is that a word)
The piece of running gear that I struggle the most to buy are running shorts with side pockets with zipers !! Most web sites don't show well if they do have zipers or it's size. Normaly they just fit a small key or coin . Men needs lots of pockets in our shorts and running pants ! We don't care if our legs or butt will look strage ... women prefer to use running belts ...
Damn sad I didn’t see you out there! West side highway is my daily route. It’s def slippery but never bothered me until I got the Novablast 5…zero grip feels like I’m skating out there lol. Superblast eats that up no issues tho 😤
I couldn't do the all black. I was out early this morning in my fluorescent green 1/4 zip, heavy mittens, and bright orange/red Superblasts. Part of my mission of don't get killed. :) Shout out to the Intrepid.
So awesome, you ran near my neighborhood in Chelsea through the Hudson River Park (west side highway). I run along the water when the wind is not too crazy lol. I’ve been mostly sticking to Central Park. Also that urban sculpture park is called Little Island. It’s so nice in the summer. They have live music and events for kids. Best bagels is at Brooklyn Bagel Co. they have locations throughout downtown Manhattan. With running shoes in NYC, it depends on your borough, run club affiliations too. Puma sponsors a run club, but they run mostly in BK. Other run clubs meet at ON and they wear ON. Fleet Feet and NYRR have big marketing with New Balance as they sponsor the marathon so New Balance is everywhere. Lastly, world major jackets are a big thing in NYC lol. Especially the NYC ones because it’s such good quality. It’s better than my Berlin and Chicago jackets. The most recent ones are 🔥 and a massive flex lol.
Good to know about the run clubs and shoes! Sounds like the NYC running scene is like Greek life in college - everyone has their affiliations and jackets and special shoes 😂
Can't go wrong with arc'teryx. You get what you pay for. A bit pricy. I went running in my arc'teryx atom jacket yesterday in 20 degree weather. Got a little warm. Great product. 👍
He used to be one of my favorite artists and he and wiz were the first artists I ever saw in concert. I basically grew up with him - KIDS came out when I was just starting high school and he soundtracked all of my high school years. I haven't really listened to him since he passed - honestly just makes me too sad 😢 I should check out the new stuff though
That alarm pierced my soul
Great getting some miles with you! I was worrying in the back of my mind that you wouldn’t get much footage so I’m glad westside highway worked out!
my boy really out here making me shed a tear taking a selfie with the ship he first talked to charlie with
❤️🫡

I ran along the Hudson a couple years ago, great place to run. This summer I’m crossing that Central Park run off my bucket list. 👊🏼

100% agree! Did that too on my most recent trip to Boston

I’ve traveled with an Aeropress, great for that use case! Granted I know there are also some good pourover kits out there.
Bang let’s do this thang 16 big ones
Not gonna lie I wouldn't hate it if Yowana returned to weight lifting. These same vibes lifting some heavy ass weights would be dope.
Did my longest run today 11 miles. In Nj… might have to run that route next time 🤍
NYC in the morning is a thing of beauty
Incredible!!!!!

One bite everyone knows the rules😂😂😂
I run in such a park every single morning or along the W. Side Highway last month has been pretty tough. It’s been freezing.

35:45 interesting thing about Puma, considering New Yorkers have a Puma Flagship Store on 5th Ave.
That bagel at the end made me want all the things...
that larrry june in the background

Embarrassed to say I still don't know the rules..
The Gelo song is so bad. I'd rather listen to Thick of it
Worst part of nyc is the grimyness and stink everywhere. It's a nasty place but you gotta take the good with the bad I guess
