So clear we are separate from our minds. Thank you. Many people like myself, have a hard time identifying themselves as the mind but if we do your simple meditation viewing or witnessing what's going on in the mind don't try to control the mind we can easily see we are separate from our minds and be detached from the minds activity as a peaceful witness. Thank you so much.

    Thank you Jagad Guru.
I wish I taught this at school as a youth. But now I know.

This has helped so much in explaining perception.

The whole subject of the mind and perception is fascinating. And it was from hearing Jagad Guru that I first realised that I wasn't the mind. I was so much into my mind I couldn't grasp how it wasn't me, but from hearing him, i grasped the idea. I still get swept away by it, but this knowledge gives me some distance.

I'm replying to my own comment because I want to underline to myself, All perception takes place in the mind. That's pretty intense!
