As far as I know the KAIRO Birkenstock sandal is no longer available (I stand to be corrected) but I was most fortunate to buy a used pair off KIJIJI. While I cannot mount my braces to the sandal, I be able to wear the sandals while out and about in my wheelchair (I only wear by braces when using the crutches). I'm telling you this only because your video was so inspiring ... thank you. I'll admit to something else that I may regret. I cut the toe area out of my polio boots and now have open toe polio boots and getting ready to expose my toes once the nicer weather comes

seeing your most beautiful feet and toes and sandals makes me feel good, but in a way a little sad too. I need to wear special shoes because my leg braces and those special shoes are thick soled, clunky and closed toed
