I like this when there’s a guest and multiple perspectives especially when it’s a guest not on here all the time gives a fresh look

Its irrational to say "put all your chips in for 2025" when you lose so much after next season. It makes no sense to dismiss the 2024 Vols and even begin to project what we will look like in 25.
Pretty clear to me we are going all in for 2024. More talented and deeper than we've been since Heup is here. Lots of experience mixed with talented young guys.

A- so far. From where we were to where currently had you told me this would have sent this well, I'd done even more with vol club spyre etc. Fantastic and keeping going Forward.. fukn dumpster 🔥 to contenders going into year 4. Hell yeah I'll take it. . GBO

A-. Tennessee fans need to be less delusional. It took Fulmer what, 8 years to win a chip? And he was riding Johnny Major’s coattails. The key is going to be consistency at quarterback play. We can’t have another Milton. We need a run like we had in the nineties-Schuler, Manning, Price, Natty. Continuity at quarterback brings in recruits.

You missed Martin in your list. I mean, he is the Championship winning QB fir the Vols

I said price instead of Martin. Mixed up my players, but that’s what I meant.

He wasn’t riding majors lol he was a great recruiter/offensive lineman coach and cutcliffe gave big Phil a longer stay was a good offensive coordinator.

@@buckdouglas1894he totally benefited from majors, without question. Majors had the foundation, he didn’t have to do anything but wait for majors to have heart surgery and take over. He 💯 rode major’s coattails, and it’s not even a slight. It’s just pointing out that there was continuity in the program for a decade before Fulmer and it took fulmer another 8 years to get on top.

I am ready for a season where we don't have to play BOTH Georgia and Alabama. I would rather play one in the regular season and the other in the SEC championship game.

I would agree with the B+ grade. Pro's: Overall scoring. Far more competitive in the conference. Much better overall play. Much more exciting. Much higher base expectations. Phenomenal job at managing the team through the mass exodus and shattered roster. Much improved culture. Con's: Questionable Talent Evaluation. Poor OL Development. Failure to fire/hire coaching to upgrade coaches. Poor rotation of younger players for future development, Poor close rate on blue chip talent. Poor road game performance.

It’s always 2 years or more away with UT sports media. The ol “gotta be realistic” line getting trotted out every single year every single video.

2:23 And this is why as an every dayer you DO NOT invite this fool back on! Kirby Smart followed Mark Richt in 2015. No NCAA investigation no scholarship loss so Smart was able to get to Atlanta and ultimately lost the 2017 playoff championship to Nick Saban. Also Nick Saban won a BCS championship at LSU BEFORE Alabam so he had the network to pull the players. Heupel's predecessor Pruitt has a show cause and scholarship loss. Heupel manages to get his team in year 2 to the Orange Bowl and in year 3 the 2023 #1 player with Nico. Please don't EVER invite Chase back with such a deplorable, casual take.
