- I'm very excited to finally share this! Spirited Away is one of my favorite films, and I've always considered the music sublime. The piece is composed by Joe Hisaishi, and it was arranged for classical guitar by myself.

quick question though, how did you manage to do the harmonics during the introduction chords?
@@retroflour Hey there! Glad you enjoyed the video. And yea it's a tricky technique. I used my index finger to touch the harmonic's node and my ring finger to strike the string (basically artificial harmonics if you're familiar with that). From there it's about sliding both fingers across 5/6 strings and making sure your index stays on the node of each string. Best way to practice is setting your index at the 12th fret harmonic on the 1st string and sliding your ring across all strings from there.

Wow! This is great! I was worried that the guitar wouldn't be able to adequately capture the beautiful harmonics as an orchestra but I was wrong. It's more subtle but it's still there.
