    While Pragg was outshined by fellow indian GM gukesh in the candidates he did show some really nice games there as well. Pragg is an incredible player and Gukesh is only the next in line. Chess from India is likely going to be really scary for the next couple years. Anand has managed to create a super GM production machine that makes sure many of those hidden talents actually get to shine. Because lets be realy, there are loads of talents all over the world in chess, but developing these raw gems needs a good system which is lacking in many many countries. India might end up dominating chess like russia did back before Bobby Fischer came around. Of course Magnus as a Norwegian is still exceptionally good and likely still above everybody else, but how long can he reallistically stay at this peak? 5 more years? maybe a bit longer? These young indian talents are insane and I think we might just see even more of those popping up in the next 5-10 years.

      No need.. Because the caption says Prag is 13 years old that time. Now Prag is already 17 years old turning 18 this August.

    That little kid is good to hold a GM in a draw. If he train hard, he will have bright future in chess.

    Im sorry im new to chess but how did they come to draw, even if hikaru lose his rook he still has his bishop to checkmate pragg no?

    • @open_roast6132
      @open_roast6132 8 месяцев назад

      He has a knight not bishop.
      It is not possible to checkmate using only a knight/bishop with King in chess. So it is a draw since no one can beat each other.
