Suggestion for your "skyscraper": Offset the front facing panels a half square relative to the cliffs behind them so that they cover up the ends of the sideways panels along the sides.
I think you should make your house the Publix! With extra rooms you could do storage or a little house/apartment in the upstairs! It would be super cute!
when putting down palm trees like you did you can make a 3 by 3 square around it, then put the custom design back on top. that way you don't have the grass edge and it blends in nicely
@@annidaskuken3487 no grass edge. the in game path does not cover a whole square so there's always a grass edge if you only put a singular square of it
Ok, since you asked: I think the road lines don't look like a crosswalk and it's way better without them! Otherwise I like how this is turning out, eager to see more ✨🐸
Girlie you never fail to make any of us smile. My birthday was yesterday! It started well but realising having 10 people for a sleepover was not good. I got a huge rash from grass and there were a lot of fights, it was still super fun tho. I'm. Watching this after they left and already am smiling and feeling happy. Your island is such a slay bestie. I could never. You are litterly a queen. You slay all day everyday. 💙 love your vids girlie
I actually know how you would be able to transition from the city core to the Everglades, you can make a trail, so it would be like a walking trail into the everglades 😄
I love how this turned out! I can agree that citycore is a tough theme. I’m doing it on my island right now but I feel like I’m doing really well but omg so many custom designs 😂😂! Love how this turned out though and am looking forward to how this island grows!!!
Maybe for the transition to the Everglades it could be a like a nature reserve and you could put some fences for like a little viewing area and just leave a couple open tiles so it’s still walkable
You can make the palm trees look more natural by making 1x2-4 “gardens” blocked off by the steel face item. That way the space in the patch is more natural and intentional.
You honestly did such a good job!! I dont think kicking off the design is weird for the palm tree but you can always put fencing around each tree like a lil cage for it
We recently went on a cruise and I was in awe of those beautiful buildings in downtown Miami! I think you did a great job! You definitely need a lot of boats on the beach near your “city” to represent the cruise ships!
Everything looks amazing. A ticket booth to the Everglades would be adorable. Like maybe the fortune cookie cart or stall with a coin and a nmt dropped
18:23 I love how tangy smirked and nodded as if she could actually hear you❤ Edit: You should also make like a little theme park, like Disney or Universal!
Raven! this build is great! ❤ since it gets so stormy in Florida, maybe consider looking into a UPS or backup power system, they aren’t even that expensive! love your vids 😊
I love this build! I was thinking maybe after ables is placed, you could put tangy’s restaurant (if it’s still being brought back). This could help transition tropical into city and vice versa. Love your videos froggy! 🐸💕
I think it turned out great! Also, I just wanted to say thank you, because I used to have some very bad stress problems, but every time you post, a smile washes onto my face and I calm down. Thank you, Raven, you are amazing. 🐸❤🐸
For the left side area, you should definitely do the Disney World theme. I've seen so many people it flawlessly and it would transition really well from Miami!
idk if this is too hard to execute on acnh but you can transition it into the Wynwood area (aka the art district in miami) or if you want to include the museum as the transition like you said in the video theres a popular museum called the Frost Museum thats in between the downtown area and miami beach area and u can base it off that as well! That muesum has always kind of reminded me of the animal crossing museum especially the sea life section!
this fall my family is going on a cruise! I am very excited for our trip and one of our stops is key west. I have never been to Florida so I am excited to go there on my cruise
For the Publix, if you don't want to use your house because you have other plans for it, you could make a new island character to be the "Publix manager" and have their house be it!
It may not be the sun bleaching the roads, but you might just have white roads! Those are a thing and it's to help with keeping the inner city cool. Blacktop roads will hold and contain the heat, whereas whitetop roads reflect it. There's a whole bunch of videos that show the temperature differences between whitetop roads and blacktop roads.
I know it’s a bit late now but if you happen to put more palm trees around the island and want them to look less awkward on the tile, I would put fencing around them. :3
as someone from halfway across the world i have no idea what a publix is, but if it's some kind of shop, I think it would be cool to make your house a mall or something and have different rooms as different shops, maybe your entranceway could be a food court or something!
Hello froggycrossing! I am a new viewer of this channel, I am watching your videos currently because my friend suggested me to watch your videos. Thank you!!!
Idk if you were looking for suggestions/input on the Publix build. I’d keep it either as a villager (risky they are IN their house for a dream address. Is your grandma still on this island with a small house? But you don’t need bigger than villager house to get the point across! But!! For your house I think you could dress it up like the magic kingdom with the warp pipe as the entrance idea. Each room can be themed to each park (Hollywood, fairy tale, jungle, and world showcase or futuristic) and you can use all the outdoor wallpaper they gave us. And the attic could be the fireworks wallpaper+show and the basement could be the “hidden” service tunnels. Costumes on the wall, break area, etc
I think scale is also really important when you’re overwhelmed. It’s a BIG island, but you have lots of ideas. Just a little touch here and there will get the whole point through. Trust the less is more motto - not in overall design/development, but just when you’re overwhelmed. Is a villager house enough space? Well the items for groceries are kinda small and you’ll use a lot of those items multiple times. You can do less to achieve what you want. But only when what you want is too stressful at a big scale
I’ve watched so many animal crossing videos that RUclips is giving me kids Nintendo switch adds “Mario and me are on an adventure!” And I’m honestly living for it
This vid gave me so much happiness because I just moved from Florida and I lived there my whole life and it’s new we’re I live now I made one friend at school and I got rlly stressed at first but now I’m better and I’m getting included at Arizona and I had so much friends at Florida and memories there so I rlly love this vid and I just started my new island!💗🐸🌴✨
I just started watching your videos and I started animal crossing nh 2 weeks ago, you help me so much and I love your meme videos and all your videos !! You help me progress in acnh a lot !
If you want citycore inspiration, I would recommend HorribleGaming! She has many city-themed builds, she even recently finished a beach city island that you could take inspo from
Hi Raven! I can't figure out how people make giant buildings and such! It's too much! My island is kind of like yours, mines tropical city, but less weird Monstrous buildings around the plaza😅❤
Maybe make a second player and add them onto the island so that you can have a smaller house player house while still being bigger than a villagers house?
I just realized that Tangy actually fits so well into this theme, because of Florida oranges. 🍊 She was here for it all along.
Tangy is the perfect villager. It’s a fact
Fr
You need all the alligator villagers for Florida.
Yes
Omg yes
Suggestion for your "skyscraper": Offset the front facing panels a half square relative to the cliffs behind them so that they cover up the ends of the sideways panels along the sides.
now this is a good idea
QUICK MAKE THIS ONE OF THE TOP COMMENTS SO RAVEN CAN SEE
I think you should make your house the Publix! With extra rooms you could do storage or a little house/apartment in the upstairs! It would be super cute!
That is freaking genius!!!
Genius!!
Love ur pfp

This is an absolute brain blast thank you!
i don’t get it, what would that change?
@@annidaskuken3487 no grass edge. the in game path does not cover a whole square so there's always a grass edge if you only put a singular square of it

I’m very proud of you for trying a Citycore theme, despite you not wanting to do it! Progress is progress!

I love how you ignore the thought bubbles on your villagers while you work 😂
Hi froggy I absolutely adore all of the islands that you have decorated and your content is superb😁
I haven't played animal crossing in like 2 months so this is the stuff to get me going

I tried to do an entire citycore island once and it was so hard so I applaud you for this build Raven it looks so good 👏🏻
I think it turned out great! Also, I just wanted to say thank you, because I used to have some very bad stress problems, but every time you post, a smile washes onto my face and I calm down. Thank you, Raven, you are amazing. 🐸❤🐸

Froggy can make any core look so cute!
let’s all admit we all get excited when froggy posts

for the roads, you should try putting the lines on every other tile. it might make it look more natural 😁❤
For the Publix, if you don't want to use your house because you have other plans for it, you could make a new island character to be the "Publix manager" and have their house be it!
The custom paths don’t look too hot, you should definitely swap them!! I think it would make the build look amazing
Best Saturdays when raven post a video!!

I am so exited that Raven is doing a Florida core island because I am doing a tropicore island so I can get some inspiration from you!
Wish u would do another squishmallow organization video but I still love these ones
Just got back from a power outage and im glad i made sure a froggy crossing video was the first thing i watched. :)
Florida also has heaps of sea turtle nesting beaches! 🐢 You should definitely have a turtle nesting beach with hatchlings crawling down the beach!!
YESSS THO!!
We need froggy to see this 12:57
Froggy it would be so cute if you made NASA somewhere on your Florida island
All of your island are stunning!!!
Ahhhh!!! Perfect timing! I love listening to you to calm me down!!
Your new island is looking so great❤
If you’re keeping Petri on this island, you should put her house in the space center/museum area!

I’m loving this build so much raven ❤
I swear raven is so good at decorating! You inspire me
I think the city build turned out great! (except the crosswalks don't look like crosswalks. i think they'd be worth their own custom design)
froggy you're an amazing city core builder. you slay in EVERY video
Stitches just bein ignored over there 💀

Thinking about it, the build raven did behind resident services on leapfrog was citycore. It just didn't have a road in front 😂
Froggy!! It would so cute if you did a beach party! 🪩
You should do brick path that slowly fades with moss and broken bricks to go into the everglades
YESS A NEW FROGGY VIDEO! also i got my Poptart delivered today tysm froggy 🐸

but it turned out amazing raven!!! sm better than what i could do😭😭

I'm just imagining that all those holes left from the flowers are some kind of anti-homeless installation.

I recommend hibiscus bushes I think they fit nicely
I agree 👍

You could add another account to your switch and turn their house into some sort of shopping center with publix and other stores you like
Awh, this looks awesome! :) Proud of you! 😊
Maybe make a second player and add them onto the island so that you can have a smaller house player house while still being bigger than a villagers house?
just a teeny tiny suggestion: alternate the stripe and the road custom design in the middle so it looks more realistic and spaced out
I can’t wait to see the finished island ❤❤
