- Love how Lockwood was being exposed left, right and center even by a villain😂 George's "Yeah sure" had me cackling and loved the look on Flo's face when Lockwood called Lucy an associate. She was like yeah sure honey.

@@seafairyellagachalife6689 ı think in that specific scene he is talking about the Hopes couple because they went there to investigate why Mr Hopes was appearing in the house and Lucy had suspected that maybe his wife had something to do with his death. but they saw Annabel and realised there had to have been another murder in the house. thus, "not just a couple's argument anymore." but you're right the parallel is there they are a couple right off the bat lol I love them

Brilliant compilation! Also noteworthy is the scene from episode 6 when Lucy gently says she can't go with Kipps to the ball and he immediately says "you're going with Lockwood", to which she awkwardly adds "and George" because she can see he's assuming they're going as a couple.

it gets even better when you see in one scene that lockwood wore blue socks to match lucy’s blue dress. literally only something a couple would do lol

In the books, we only hear all the comments people are saying to Lucy (especially the Skull) about her and Lockwood so I love it even more that in the show, we can finally see Lockwood getting them too.

I know it’s from the books but one of my favourites was the skull saying:
“He was my master, just like Lockwood is your master”
And Lucy got as far as the ‘Just like’ before it sank in that she really didn’t want to relay that part

Lucy: oh nothing it really wasn’t important, not worth repeating
Lockwood: common Luce we don’t know what might be important
Lucy: oh fine, he said just like Lockwood is my master
At which point Lockwood scratched his nose, stared at the floor and pretended he hadn’t heard, while George who was taking notes let out a whooping laugh and said “I’m definitely adding that in!”

@@rapz431 I think part of it was going for a darker tone, which the books do have but the humour is much lighter (but also kind of dark at the same time) in the books like with when carver died

In the show she's looking for Bicker staff's office and she asks the skull where it is. The skull says where does your master hide things? Behind a closed door. She doesn't even acknowledge it but maybe since they were alone she should've said "he's not my master" or do a "who?" as well like lockwood😂
We all spotted the "friendship" between these two! Like they have so many moments that are perfect for a kiss bro😩

She kind of looks a little like Jennifer Lawrence in the scene with Penelope. Also, who can leave out their electric connection when he hands her Annabel's ring, and she steals a touch with his hand? These two can speak without words.

Lockwood & Co, on Netflix but it's based on the books with the same main title
Personally I think there is a very clear power imbalance between Lucy and Lockwood as he is her employer. He make’s decisions that disregard both Lucy and George, such as the whole bet between him and Kipps or when he talked about Lucy on the news after she specifically told him not to. I don’t mind him as a character, I just think a relationship between the two would be slightly unhealthy.
Ditto. He gets a LOT better as a character in the books, but he reaches a peak in his jerk-ness in book 3, and gets mad at Lucy when she’s rightfully suspicious for hiring some girl he didn’t even give a psychic assessment to, limits Lucy from exploring her powers, and on top of that, he starts ignoring Lucy for no reason. All Lucy did was tell Anthony to stay in bed and he just got mad and ignored her until they were chasing a helium lion down the street and Lucy batted her little eyes at Lockwood so he changed his mind.
In the books, she willingly jumps off a building into a huge body of water without even getting mad at Lockwood, so tbh I like show Lucy more than book Lucy and I hope that when Holly comes, Lucy will have a proper confrontation with Lockwood.
