perfect cast but they kind of removed a lot of the mystery and truama surrounding lockwood. like the sheer amount of times he's almost risked his life is cause for concerne especially when you realize his past and how he was forced to grow up so fast. he lost that layer here which sucks because it's what made me fall in love in the character in the book
Cameroon made this character so admirable and splendid! His acting was way beyond superb and he looked so wonderful and mature yet still young and cute. Impressive acting by both of them and would love to watch the next season. Really admired the decency, language, and getup they brought in to it. Looks real!

It's really really similar. They nailed it (the atmosphere, the characters, the dialogs, the worldbuding...). It's just a little bit rushed sometimes and they're pushing the locklyle ship more than in the books but other than that it's super close
