🎬 Defender 25 Review - ruclips.net/video/yGbm4r_CgdM/видео.html
iFlight makes some of the best fpv drones in the hobby and all these models look great.
Very impressed with the iFlight defender series, very consumer friendly quad. Flies great, O3 system great, great quad to get you in the air. Great review Albert.
It's nice that they have different sizes for pilots with different needs. The whole one size fits all idea a lot of FPV pilots seem to promote online is just ridiculous.
Its kind of odd that they have a 16, 20, and 25. I can't think of any reason why I'd ever buy the 20. The 16 is great if you just want to use the 03 and fly indoors and the 25 could carry an action camera. Personally, I would only get the 25...it does it all
This series of cinewhoops is probably the easiest to just get up in the air without having to watch hours and hours of videos learning all the boring details of FPV. If you are new to FPV and don't want to spend the next 6 months watching videos about battery charging alone, just get one of these with the DJI googles 2 and DJI remote 2. You'll be flying faster than ever. If you get an earful of bad advice from an FPV old timer, just ignore them because they just want you to sit at home and watch their youtube videos for the next century.
iFlight is thinking out of the box here and not catering to the old ideas of dinosaur FPV pilots. The hobby has been stagnant for way too long due to these geezers. LOL.
Really impressed with this, wish I can try it someday.
Great looking quad. But i am not so sure what to find of the batteries.
I think this is the right fpv for me. Just starting out, and i understanda I will need to repair this eventually. I will slowly fall into the custom drone world but want to pilot a little bit more outside the simulator, and obviously just own a drone. incredible video my man!
Thanks!
This small digital qauds are getting so good i dont realy see jello nice
iflight nails every drone they make. I'm thinking about getting the nazgul5 v3. They would be a cool review.
Thanks for the review of all the options in one video.
The way these batteries mount is definitely convenient but there are so many downsides that I am unsure if I would get a quadcopter with such a battery system. We are also used to manage our batteries, charging or putting them to storage mode. Is this automatic storage mode as safe for the lifetime of the battery as doing it yourself? Definitely more convenient though.
I have the defender 20 and have no clue how to put it in bind mode. Any help?
I'll assume you have the ExpressLRS receiver version. If so, you need to follow the instructions on this page... www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/binding/?h=binding
@@AlbertKimTV I’m having trouble with the defender 20 blinking blue for ‘ready to bind’
Looks good! I like that it includes battery and a charger.
Seems like they built this in response to the Avata. The 25 looks like a solid choice...fly in the wind, carry an action camera and its still small enough where you could fly indoors. Also, kind of surprised the batteries aren't more expensive. Great review!!
I concur on all counts! All they need is a ready to fly bundle.
Awesome flying and review, Albert! 😃
That's a pretty interesting quad indeed!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Kudos to iflight for trying to get more people in the fpv hobby. The Defender series looks closer to a mainstream product then homemade. Reasonable flight time. Easy battery management. 👍😎
My big concern is the proprietary battery. How many years will they make those batteries.
How many years do you plan to use this model? You can just plan ahead and buy spare batteries while they are still available. If I were serious about this model that's what I would do.
I think this is a good cheaper alternative to avata for beginners. Simple and easy setup.
This really looks like a hybrid FPV. All of the functions and capabilities of a FPV quad, but a hassle free, (Camera drone) battery experience. I’m sure most people charge their batteries the night before and I’m sure, something happens and you can’t fly, then you have to discharge your batteries. That is the nature of FPV. This is one feature I like camera drones.
