what a wonderful design that cat is, I love it so much! It reminds me of a poster I used to have hanging in my first apartment that my older sister gave me; it was a kitten hanging on a branch like this one, and it said Hang in There, Baby! TFS.

When I applique circles, I use metal washers as templates. By inserting the washer in the fabric circle (seam allowances included), a running stitch within the seam (like for a yo-yo) can be tighten over the washer. Just be careful not to touch the metal when ironing down the turned under seam allowances. Using small metal washers helped to create identical circles for a grape vine applique design. The circles on my rice cooker cover have held up after several years of use. Watching your video, I'm tempted to make another cover for the air fryer. 🍄🍄
