Josh was already ascending before Diggs got there.
When Allen himself credits Diggs, why argue against it. Do I think Josh was gonna develop into a top QB regardless, yes. But 1500+ yards and 17 TDs more is reflective of the immediate impact Diggs had on his success. It was definitely time to move on given the deterioration in the relationship with Diggs and Buffalo as an organization but that doesn't mean we need to pretend that he didn't play great for 90% of his career there. It can both be true that Diggs was good for Allen's career and it was time to move on.

Under no circumstances should we trade our 1st round pick next year. This could be a down season and that could end up being a Top 15-20 pick. I'd rather trade a couple 2nd round picks over a 1st round

@@HD6SOCCER Culture....Josh scored the top Wunderlich of his draft class. No matter what anyone says, a 40 has a hard time with a bunch of 15s, especially as a bright young man matures. You can fake it, say all the right things but deep down culture creates cohesion.

Diggers really didn’t do much at all in the last two seasons Minnesota said you can have him.
@@kevinsnell5031The year before last, Diggs finished 4th in receptions, 5th in yards and ties for 3rd in TDs. Saying a top 5 finish isn't doing much is a ridiculous take. Last year he certainly had a huge slide for the second half of the year, yet still managed to finish with over 100 receptions and 1,000 yards.
Buffalo certainly made the right choice in moving on but that doesn't mean as fans that we need to lie about Diggs being a top 5 WR for the vast majority of his career in Buffalo.
