He was bleeding a lot

Being a plastic surgeon isn’t always a glamorous job. I’m sharing this as an educational post to hopefully educate at least one person of how dangerous angle grinders can be. All it takes is a millisecond for the wheel to fly off or for it to kick back and injure you.
This week I’ve had to take care of two different people where the angle grinder impacted their face causing significant injury. Be safe for those of you that use this piece of equipment and make sure to wear a face shield!
