    Thanks for this helpful video Melissa! Given these two hammer handpieces accuate differently, do you prefer one over the other? Or, is your preference more related to the task at hand? Thanks so much!

      It really kind of depends on what I am doing. I like the one for the flexshaft for setting bezels and doing textures. I like the one for the micro motor for setting prongs.

    Regarding the control box, how do you know when you are at 5000 rpm for the hammer handpiece. Is it placed inline so the foot pedal still activates the flex shaft? Thanks!

    • @MelissaMuir
      @MelissaMuir  2 года назад +3

      When you look at the control box there are different markings on there. Depending on which motor you are hooked up to, those markings will identify different speeds. If you are using an SR motor, it will go up to 18,000 RPM. So if there are 5 lines (6 segments) you would figure that each line marking is about 3,000 RPM. So The first would be 3,000, the second 6,000, third 9,000 and so forth. So to get to 5,000 rpm, I would go about 1/2 between the first two marks. I hope that helps.

      Hi Melissa. Regarding the control box for the hammer hand piece. Can I run my flexshaft, SR model, for regular use, as well as the hammer?

    Melissa, I can't find that little oiler device. I know you said it's from Foredom, but apparently, I'm not putting in the correct name for it in my searched. Where can I find it, please?

    Hello Melissa I have PROXXON 28622Arbre Flexible Micromot , can this handpiece hammer from foredom adapt and work with him ?

    • @MelissaMuir
      @MelissaMuir  2 года назад +2

      I am not familiar with that one. You can contact Foredom directly and they would be able to tell you.

    • @MelissaMuir

      But my best guess would be no for the micromotor.
