How to use Applique Scissors for Easy Machine Applique & Embroidery

One of our favorite tools when machine appliqueing is Applique Scissors! Applique Scissors are incredibly useful. The rounded part of the blade on one side serves as a safety precaution to keep from cutting the base fabric when appliqueing, while the angle of the scissor handle allows for a an extremely close and precise trim along the stitch line.
If you have ever had this misfortune happen, then you’ll know when we say it will make you want to cry to discover that you have cut through the under fabric by mistake and have to start the project all over again. Using applique scissors will help make your projects oops-free when trimming and it will help you get that neat and professional look you have been struggling to achieve in your embroidery projects.
