Great video btw. I never imagined having to do so much on a truck that old JUST TO REMOVE THE FENDER . My guess, that design is what keeps dent pullers and bondo in business.
The inner fender is just held on by plastic clips to the outer fender. I really don’t see why it couldn’t stay in place, just be careful because I’ve seen some that have been brittle and cracked easy that’s why I went this route to save what are left of mine and make it easier

Noo never cut any wire. Dont take the fuse box out just move too the side.

You also pulled the inner fender. Can the inner fender stay in place if just the outer fender needs to come off? Fixing or junking the truck?
