Lovely to wake up early in the morning in South Africa knowing that the first thing I'll watch is another of your delightful demonstrations. Thank you.
Another wonderful ideas video, Natasha. Thanks for sharing and also leaving in the little errors that happen to all of us. It's nice to know that even someone like you can make a little mistake - makes you human, because to us you're super human with that creative brain of yours. LOL LOL.
Awesome! Although I have a ton of supplies, I love the old-school version of cardmaking with the basics- - that's where real creativity and ingenuity comes in. Thanks for the inspiration and tips!! :)
I love that you left in the “happy accident”! I thought the deckled edge of the balloon added a neat touch to the more elongated shape of the hand drawn balloon. I was so getting into your video, after you used the eraser, I actually blew on my phone screen!🤪🤣🤣 Btw, I learned a cool trick the other day for embossing string, just run it through the versamark pad, pour over the powder and emboss! Before the string cools, you can flatten it with the flat side of scissors or even press a design into the string to give it a raised pattern. It works best on larger strings and ribbons. Thought you might have heard of this technique but i thought I’d share it here to others too! Thanks, Tash! You come up with such creative ideas!!🥰
Natasha, I have recently bought a Set of Ranger Embossing Pens that work great for exactly what you were doing here. Plus, I often sign My name on the back of the Card and emboss My name with Embossing powder!! Ranger makes a Set with a white/clear and a Black pen. Just thought you might like to know. Great Card!! I absolutely love your creativity and ideas! This is the Bomb of a Shaker Card!! Very nice! Thanks as always for your inspiration!!
And I'm loving this card, love the practicality and again Tash inspires all to rush over to the craft table and play and let our own creative juices flowing. Thanks again Tashkent.
Beautiful! Unfortunately, I am completely incapable of freehand drawing/cutting anything. However, I do have a printer, so I like to print out stuff for fussy cutting. I've used this method for decoupage, but I could see it working for a shaker card too. My most recent printer decoupage card was an invitation for my boyfriend to go to the (U.S.) Marine Corps Birthday Ball with me. (I'm the Marine, not him. Yes, that comes up a lot.)
Thank you so much for this video! I am not very good at creating shakers. I love them... I just suck at making them lol 😁. I have tons of dies I could use but most of the time I'm too lazy to dig them out and to set up my big shot. So this is a great way to make shakers ☺.
I love how good the embossing looks...note to self.... :) I use cornflour for anti stick(I wonder if that is all the anti-static powder sold, is) esp round edges of foam tape(with a brush) to prevent shaker elements from sticking. newbie here, using what I have !!! :)
@@Jelly-rj8fz It’s like a nylon stocking, with an elastic top, but just comes up to the knee. I put some cornstarch in it, tied a knot in it and use it as a stamp buddy.
I’m forever forgetting my anti static bag even though it’s to the left of me on my table, never mind. Your balloon shaker is great fun, take care and stay safe.
Sooo cute! I don't have a lot of large dies either just because of the cost and I only had a mini die cut machine. Now I have my Gemini Jr, I think I need to start buying some larger ones. But this is so simple and easy
I love the way that you make simple but lovely cards ! 😊
Wow! Never made one yet but future is looking brighter for it! 💖💖💖🌹🤓

Great idea, just like the nurse card you made. Great!!!
Oh yeah, just cut out our shape, like the “olden days, when we had no dies! We are quite spoiled with all the fancy dies! Cute card, Natasha.

Love your card, it’s so pretty.
Great alternative for people who might not have or want to invest in larger dies, like the balloon.
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

Another fantastic idea, more about crafting than spending a fortune on dies! I love it! ❤️

You can use cornstarch or baby powder also!!
@@michelegourd5742 yup that's what cornflour is called here... and baby powder, dont have a baby !!! :)
Me too - cornflour in the toe of a popsock! 😂
@@xVentax what's a popsock?

Wonderful
Great card thanks
so cute 🥰
TFS lovely card.
I had so many envelopes with the clear window, so I made shaker cards from them.
Eautiful simple card !
Thank you my friend kisses 😘
Very nice
wow ! you can draw andcut things out.
lovely card, just tap the back of your card stock and the looser powder should ping off, tfs.x
Love this. I’m hopeless at drawing circles freehand so not sure how well mine would turn out.
Use a glass or jar or coin to draw your circle. You could even draw it on the reverse side instead. Go for it!
Neat 👍🏼👍🏼🤓😁
I think you can still buy versamark pen in US at Michaels.
Still have my pen. Saw it was on sale here in SA. Wanted to buy it 😔
Your cards are amazing. What type of glue do you use ? I am a new watcher
Can you show how to make a wine glass shaker card
Embossing powder sticks even where I powder the paper.
Another enjoyable video! Are you from Australia btw? i thought i was hearing this accent
I'm from New Zealand 😊
Good evening Natasha, are you all ok down there? X
haha waxed thread!! I could use dental floss huh?
