I don't care what anyone says...I f-ing loved this film. Perfect mix of action, character and humor. Gor was amazing.
I enjoyed this movie and did cry a bit towards the end. The part where Thor gave powers to the children was the best. This film does not deserve all the hate.
A high-quality actor like bale does not save this mess tho

lol I forgot about the goats. I would have liked to see slightly more of the Guardians and Sif but otherwise this isn’t a bad movie. The silliness was maybe a bit too silly as well but the entertainment factor was high.

Bro the movie is so underrated. Too many decide to shit on the film because they think it wasn't "serious" enough for them. Thor films always had comedy apart of the show.
But I loved the commentary in the movie. And it actually made tears swell up at the end of the movie.

My wife and I LOVED this movie....its was fun and funny....not every damn Marvel movie needs to be Endgame level of seriousness.

29:42 is the part of the movie where I always cry because of the sheer awesomeness this scene exudes. Plus, it reminded me of when I was younger and would turn everything into a movie or video game in my head. For example, in first grade PE, we would ride tricycles around the gym and do laps. I would turn it into Mario Kart and imagine I got the star boost and would sing the song out loud.

I’m so glad I found a Thor: Love and Thunder reaction on RUclips where the comments were mostly positive. I get that the movie is divisive and that a good amount of people were disappointed, but I personally enjoyed the movie despite its flaws. And all the online negativity surrounding this movie, She-Hulk, and Phase 4 in general is just wearing me out. Some of us just want to enjoy MCU content for what it is when we come home for work exhausted, but to hear everyone bitching about it constantly…it makes me not enjoy Marvel movies and shows as much anymore. I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the fandom has just become really toxic for me. I don’t have any more energy to give towards haters anymore and I think I need to find something else to like before all the constant complainers in this fandom drag me down with them 🙁

It’s not that we hate it( I like parts of the movie just for me a lot of it was time whiplash and the goats only annoyed me just cus I saw too many goat memes 10 years ago hope that helps) bale was amazing in this movie idk who had issues with she hulk tho that was great ( I haven’t finished yet but I’ve loved every episode I’ve seen so far) don’t let the negativity weigh you down tho! ❤ I’m one of the oddballs that likes eternals alot too
I like how Thor is slowly gaining Odin's powers. He enchanted Mjolnir to protect Jane, then he bestowed power on all those kids. He's inherited the Odinforce.
Fun Fact: Thor Love & Thunder is the first Thor solo outing to NOT have Loki make a physical appearance.
Great reaction! ^_^ Today i finally took the time to watch this movie. While i found the comedy and silliness to be a bit too much at times, it was a very fun ride, and it even made me cry a few times. Just what i needed right now.

Dude the goats are literally my fav characters in the whole movie
Even though Gorr is not look like the one in comic books but Christian Bale played the character very well. I really proud of him. Love how he interrogate them. I like the movie Totally enjoyed it. Russell Crowe as Zeus is not bad also but the skirt looks boring. By the way, Jane enters Valhalla and we got to see Hercules in post credit. And there other deleted scenes where Zeus support Thor and mentoring him.
Agreed bale was fantastic. A huge highlight for me .
If they made him look like he does in the comics they would have had to have a CG character and it would be basically no need for Christian Bale

The accent is Greek. Zeus is the Greek god of the sky, weather etc.
I could do a better Greek accent but considering I am actually of Greek Jewish descent that probably isn`t surprising.

If your not an Aussie you won't get the Greek reference as much - it's not really a true "Greek-Greek" accent - it is more the "Aussie-Greek" or "Wog" accent which we all know in this part of the world. I can see how many foreigners would not understand it. In fact, much if the humour in this movie has an Aussie/Kiwi humour slant thanks to Taika.
Thor is for sure my favorite as well!

My favorite Thor movie and top 5 of MCU
I thought it was a fantastic movie but I wish we got more Bale. Kinda feels like he was barely in it for being the main villain. I give it a 4 and a half stars! I loved all the comdiac aspects too! I laughed so hard through out this movie!
I kind of disliked the movie first time I watched it, but now with every single rewatch it does get better.
Except for the God of Dumplings, that one is still too much😅

That was a great story, right? Those complaining about this story and previous MCU ones are the folks who still don't get that the MCU isn't the comics. It's been 14 years of the MCU doing it's own things and the people attacking this movie still don't get it? I know some people can be slow, but 14 years? Damn!
This movie shows how much Thor has grown as a character and how he's growing into a god, the type of god Odin wanted him to be. Thor was closer to Zeus in his first movie. Instead of being the self centered entitled jerk he was at the start of his journey, Thor has become a benevolent god that welcomes all. He's a god that others respect and believe in. His people love him and he would do anything for them as he's shown movie after movie. Thor isn't nothing like Gorr's god or the gods in Omnipotence City, and he wants nothing to do with them or that life. He'd rather spend his time among his people.
I can't wait to see what they do next though the future is looking very good for Thor and Jane. Bridget, are you aware of the Marvel hero named "Valkyrie?" Not to be confused with what King Valkyrie was, a member of the Valkyries. I'm not sure what the MCU is going to do about the name, as Thor and this movie keep calling Brunnhilda Valkyrie/King Valkyrie, but Jane Foster, after being Mighty Thor, she becomes the last living Valkyrie. We're going to get a different story to this in the MCU of course, since King Valkyrie is the last Valkyrie and she's not doing what the Valkyries in the comics do, but the MCU isn't the comics. In any case, Jane has a path back to the living.
EDIT: I assume the reason why Mjolnir was killing Jane because she's a mortal, and she was using the weapon of a god. Even though she was worthy, her body isn't built to use the power of a god, worse still she was already dying, so she wasn't healthy. I assume the same rules we heard in Infinity War when Thor was making Storm Breaker apply here too. Mjolnir also has Odin's enchantment on it, and that was imbued with the Odinforce. Thor should enchant his own hammer so that no one else can use it again like Gorr did. Gorr's daughter is able to use these weapons because Eternity, the most power being in the universe became Gorr's daughter. When Eternity was transforming it took a starry silhouette shape of a woman's body before becoming Gorr's daughter. She reminded me a lot of a character that's called Singularity in the comics, I'm wondering now if they are both one and the same. Maybe in the future she's grow into this superhero, thanks to Thor's love and guidance =D
Right! And the comics themselves even have so many different iterations and storylines. The MCU is much like that, uses those characters for a new story. Some of it may be similar to the comics or inspired by certain lines, but this is a whole new telling and I love it.

This movie could have been so much better. "Gorr the God Butcher"? We only get to see him kill one God. The movie could have pulled us in more if Gorr killed Gods we were already introduced to. A little more back story for Jane becoming the Mighty Thor would be nice as well. I hope an extended cut of the movie gets released that may help on what I commented about.
Yeah I feel like 8 minutes of extra jokes coulda been cut out and 20 minutes of say extra gorr being a butcher and extra back story like you said would’ve turned this from a fun good movie to me into a great movie

@@BRIDGECO1 Omg it's fantastic! I saw it first when I was just a teenager and it just evokes such a human experience it's hard to explain with just the plot. Also alot of it is a bit trippy. Lol I watch it every few years to remember that experiences are important and trying to change the past is futile. We gotta learn lessons and grow. 💜

People complain about this movie yet praise Ragnarok to the highest degree. They had the same amount of comedy. If anything this had more serious moments. This movie did what Ragnarok wanted to do better.

Not everyone has the same taste bro lol you should realize that and grow from it .
It’s not only the cringe and unnecessary comedy, it’s the writing. This movie is one of the worse written MCU movies.
Gorr is underdeveloped for the most part. He's barely in the movie. Bale gives a great performance, but the script does not flesh him out, does not explore his character, and in effect, turns him into another forgettable MCU villain. His motivation is horrible. Just because his god failed him Gorr says all gods are selfish and they only care about themselves, but his plan was to kidnap the children and wait for the gods to go get them. Literally contradicting his ideals. Bad writing.
Valkyrie never looks bothered about what
she's doing in the film and doesn't even take
part in the last battle cos "she might get
killed", despite talking to Jane earlier in the
film about how she wants her Viking death so she can get to Valhalla. More bad writing.
The action in this movie wasn’t good while the Ragnarok has multiple action scenes that was good. There are some beautiful shots, but not nearly as often as the artwork in Ragnarok.
Overall it's just a very boring story, there's no real plot, Thor finds out someone is murdering gods (off camera) and just goes to kill him... Synopsis done, that's it! Way too much filler in the film and pointless scenes just to drag it out far longer than it needed to be while the scenes that they needed to show like Gorr killing the gods, Jane becoming Mighty Thor, etc, we're all cut. I don't care for the characters, the CGI is inconsistent, the writing is not good, the exposition once again like in MoM is bad and it has plot holes, it’s just a bad written movie.
@@reynaldolorenzo8409 I think a big issue is the lack of writing. While Ragnarok had tons of improve, it actually worked. This movie seemed like many scenes had too few takes and allowed too much improve. That's why there is so many poor jokes and scenes that seem completely meaningless. It also seems to just go from "scenes of people standing around being silly" to "scenes of people standing in a different place being silly".

For us it’s balancing full time working and parenting and YouTubing, we missed this and Nope in theaters this summer 😭 after being late a couple weeks tho then we just decide save it for content at that point.

I really do not get the hate for this. I mean yes it was very campy in places, but it is being told by korg. I thought it was a very enjoyable movie and could easily re-watch it. Maybe not the best MCU movie, but I would say its in the top half.

I wanted to love this movie so badly. I LOVED thor ragnarok and absolutely adore taikia....but I hated this movie. There were parts I did enjoy, and so many parts that really could have been great. Looking back on it just makes me mad lol.
😢was super unhappy with the film . The over done jokes ruined for me. I would have enjoyed it or even liked it if it was evened out like Thor 4 but that’s just my opinion.
I was telling my brother and Bridgette that; like I get people not enjoying it for too many jokes, but we have no problem with that ourselves 😂

Watched it last night with my wife. We did not like it. Felt like a parody movie. Everyones acting was super over the top, And most of the jokes just didnt land for us. Glad others liked it, but this was another decline for us from Marvel.
