  • In this episode I'm joined by Tim Stillman to chat about the idea of rivalry in the wake of Man City beating Spurs, and whether that's something managers should pay attention to.
We also discuss Mikel Arteta's influence on this Arsenal team and how fans bought into his communication, in contrast to how Tottenham fans reacted to Ange Postecoglou's comments. Then we consider the final day of the season, and how we've pushed City all the way with the outside chance of still winning the league.
Then Tim reflects on the Arsenal career of Vivianne Miedema who's departure was announced this week, as well as some chat about that decision, how it came to pass, and what might happen on the final day of the season.

I do like a nice early podcast upload tbh. The morning is always the quietest part of the day that needs filling.

Disappointed that we will probably finish behind 115 FC,but can't be prouder of Arteta and the boys. After all the pain, misery and false dawns over the years,we finally have clear signs of hope and progress.Thank you to Andrew,Tim,James, Phillipe/p for the content and putting things in perspective every step of the way.COYG❤

These allegations against Man City might make us premier league champions for the last two years and how do you feel about this

@@davidkeith9015 The league sold it's soul by embracing the devil in Abrahamovic and Abu Dhabi,As much as I wish that those corrupt, fraudulent cheats pays the price, they will twist the rules just like they always do.Probaly take it to CAS and then pay them off or even FIFA,and we know all about their integrity 😂.

@@davidkeith9015more likely thos season are declared null and void. Would be a mess to try to reallocate finishing spots. The relegated teams would complain too

West Ham have been treated like an absolute 100% 3 points for City by many people. I have a good feeling about them spoiling the party and sending that trophy to London. 🙏🔴⚪️

God I hope you’re right but I can’t see it. We beat this side 6-0 when they had hatred for us and now they don’t have anything to play for and their manager is out the door

Let’s admit it. We always hope, but no one expected this. What a great season, win or lose. The most thrilling in almost twenty years. 🤞But wait and see…

Hopefully next season we will have something to look forward to after title disappointments like Liverpool with the F.A CUp final and UCL Finals (2019/2022).

Strange things happen which make momentous days in any sport.
Look at Dortmund last season on the last day drawing to a much lesser side Mainz at home and lost the league to Bayern on goal difference. No one expected that...
    Sounds familiar. You never know...

Last year the problem was the saliba injury, so the back line dropped so deep and left space.

Romero shirks tackle with Foden then sleep on cross then pen then laughing away with Pep at end instead of guttlike Son. Who always scores them against us.. lift it one foot, one foot 😢
