- In this episode I'm joined by Sam Dean to chat about Ben White and the focus on his 'antics' from corners. Why the focus now? Will it force him and Arsenal to modify behaviour from set-pieces? And does it obscure discussion of his outstanding quality and consistency as a footballer? We also talk about Gabriel Jesus amid reports around his future, Oleksandr Zinchenko perhaps being more 'at risk' of a departure, the new contract offered to Jorginho and what that means for the summer, as well as chat about proposed new financial rules in the Premier League, games being held in the US, and lots more - including details of our donation to UNICEF.

Its essentially a hit piece by people who don't like that Ben White doesn't want to play for England
Thanks, Andrew. I appreciate all your hard work. From a fellow Irish gooner
Cheers!
1:04:00 People have spent loads of money for club Wembley season tickets so you can’t just ship fa cup and charity shield to America. I remember I paid a six figure amount on a 10 year season ticket when it was rebuilt and was annoyed when they had to switch matches to villa park because of the olympics.
9:15 Actually, Tomiyasu takes on the role of cover the keeper when he subs in for White. He had been doing that since last year.
As an American, having games that "matter" in the US or elsewhere is a horrible idea. Purely broadcasters and owners thinking of profits
That's how I feel about the NFL games over here. I have been to a few, the atmosphere is hollow, whereas I went to a college game and it was amazing!
I feel reticent to mention this on here. But Talksport referred to sp*ds as 'the trophy dodgers'. Never heard that expression before, so forgive me if thats common knowledge. But I did find it hilarious.
A cap on player spending still helps the big teams. If you can't overpay some star to come into your lower table team...why would they go to them over one of the bigger clubs?
Haha the AI Swift at the end was actually catchy 😅
Vicario doesn't even come for crosses which makes the whole Ben White thing even more of a red herring
Am arsenal fan in America I pay $50/mo to watch the Arsenal games 6am every morning --I wouldn’t mind watching 1 game here
$50 a month? In America? I had to buy a special Peacock package this year. I pay for ESPN and Paramount so maybe I can say the same thing.
Well we go pretty much every preseason, that's enough for america
If a domestic, competitive game is ever played abroad, I will riot.
FA cup final in the states?!?? 🤢 Sacrilege isn't the word.
It is OUR football. Mug.
Thank you andrew, well said.
Man city too good and efficient in title run ins.
one of the best outros yet
I think we see the best inverted position is Kai moving into midfield from the striker position
I really enjoyed Sam's balanced, well thought out answers today. More please 😊
1:04:46 Im not even English, and yes it is. PL or FA cup matches should never be outside of England imo. Nor CL outside of Europe for that matter
Need 2 put a face to the voice for nxt season 🙏❤️🤍👍
Re Ben White, you heard it here first. Man C will want to replace Walker soon. Might table 65 or so to test.
I'm an arsenal fan from Kenya, I've never seen my team playing live but I love this team and this league because it's in England and I never ever want that to change
I'm vehemently against any hard carp on spending - particularly one so relatively low - for the sole reason that every penny over the limit will go straight into the billionaire owners' pockets. This is absolutely gross at the best of times but given the fucking extortionate prices we pay for football in England is utterly outrageous. Not to mention how it immediately gimps our league relative to big clubs on the continent.
This is NOT the answer. Further americanisation of the sport is NOT the answer (the way their leagues are run is disgusting).
Every decision these rich pricks make about our clubs/league makes me actually want governmental oversight 🤢
In regards to the guest's chip shop comparison; your chippy doesn't have millions of fans or a local community & culture dependent on it. Football CLUBS are so called because they were never intended to be businesses; they should still be clubs first and foremost.
I think that's the most important thing, american leagues are Diabolical, it's barely real sport they should just call it sports entertainment like WWE do 😂. No relegation, drafts, franchises, losing for better draft picks 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
What are weird podcasts today? It doesn't make any sense
Great show as usual gentlemen I would like to see Zinchenko play midfield as I don't like the way he plays inverted left back if we could get good money for Jesus and Martinelli I would take it
