Amen! There's a book that is Christian based named the 4 Agreements that's powerful. 1. Be impeccable with your words 2. Never make assumptions 3. Don't take anything personally 4. All always do your best That book has helped me tremendously with future hurt, because I realized it's not me it's them. The word of God even speaks on it. I also don't put expectations on people, especially loved ones, be we all are subject to offend someone. One of my favorite scriptures, guard your heart above all else because it will run the course of your life.

I had a therapist on BetterHelp tell me that & suggested I be matched with a different therapist since she felt she wasn't able to effectively help me move past my intrusive thoughts. She said that a therapist is supposed to help you grow & if you aren't then they're hurting you not helping you. 💙
Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Let it go your just hurting yourself. Pray for the person that hurt you to come to repentance so both people are set free by the Grace of God

Now I Can overlook things, but when you're trying to forgive someone especially a family member who has no intentions on apologizing or changing separating yourself from them isn't an option. Through my own personal experience, I've learned to surrender and submit my way of thinking to God, accept what I can not change, and pray for those who have hurt me along with praying for myself.

When we pray and ask God to bring conviction not condemnation the Holy Spirit will cause the other person to repent which means to stop acting a certain way. I think its ok to separate from toxic relationships until the person has sincerely repented. He caused me to seek deliverance for entertaining the Ahab spirit which was attracting Jezebel after Jezebel after Jezebel I even encountered some male Jezebel spirited supervisors at work. Im so thankful to Jesus for setting me free from the hurt that was caused from these spirits. I have a heart full of love and a mind full of peace now and i learned to set healthy boundaries and use the gift of discernment with people. Please say a prayer for me if you want and Ill do the same for you.

I've learned, by studying the Word, that life isn't supposed to be easy at all. But it's OK, as long as you've got peace of mind, and you're fulfilling what God has called you to do. In Matthew 5:11-12 Jesus said "Blessed are you when people insult you or persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil things against you because of (you're association with) Me. Be glad and exceedingly joyful, for your reward in Heaven is great; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you!!👉 If someone is trying to put you down for no reason, then smile inside, knowing that the prophets were treated the same way.👉2 Chronicles 36:16.🙏🙏🌠🌠🤲🤲

On my Healing Journey prayes to God, got into the word, did trauma release massage and stretching, and going either low contact or no contact with the person who chose to hurt me. Then I was able to truly forgive but it took time and work ❤
