Non-brand products require that bit of ingenuity/back yard mechanics. We'll see how Owen's nailer lasts. I like a pneumatic nailer. The whole setup is about equal in cost of cordless, and a bit of heavy lifting off the van but a lighter more nimble tool.
My old Makita jigsaw lost it's pendulum. Piece of metal broke. Was able to weld it back together, holding so far although seldom used.

I have one of these that has the green light on to report 'no nails', however there are nails in the magazine. Tempted to take it a apart and have a look around - any ideas where to start?

Hi Bootsowen,
Bit of a longshot, have you seen any discarded Ferrex 20/40v 4AHr batteries about? I have cells but need a good condtition case and bms to put them in. Ta

Not yet Ian, I have a few myself, bought new, I like the impact drivers and the 40 v ones will run a 36v e bike and scooter that I have. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
I am looking for broken tools that will accept those batteries to make a clip to hold the batteries on the scooter, at the moment I just push spade connectors in.
