Megha, I just want to go on record here again and say how good that jacket looks on you! Just stunning 💞 And I thoroughly enjoy your ‘tendency to just yap away’ 😍
That should be a warm afghan. You're braver than I am. I have been crocheting 45+ years, and every afghan that I've ever started in single crochet has either been frogged or is in a bin to be frogged.
That pink cardigan is just beautiful!! I need one 😂. And I’m the same with tea, the best gift I ever got was a kettle where you set the temperature. I would always boil the kettle then it was too hot to drink my tea so I’d leave it to cool but forget about it and it would go cold. I “boil” to 70 degrees for non milk and 80 for milk drinks and it’s perfect to drink right away. Sorry for the ramble just thought it might suit you to get a temperature control kettle.
You have such pretty hands, the color on your nails looks great! Glad you recovered from your illness, my daughter had whooping cough I wonder if that is what you had? Happy Holidays to you and yours!
I like the idea of putting the elastic in the neckband. Did you hold the elastic double with itself or double with yarn? I duplicate stich a different colour yarn a few inches across the back of my sweaters as I can't tell the front from the back with short-rows either. Glad you're back and feeling better. All the best for the holidays! 🎄🎉

Great sweater. I too like to make waist & hip shaping. I’m also in Pgh.

Thank you so much!! Maybe it was! I was coughing so badly 🤣🤣
That’s exactly how I wash my hand knit socks (no alpaca in my socks) and they have lasted for years.
