Comment from the future :) I think we all assumed that this was Joss' baby but it's really Jed's, Maurissa's and Bell's. In retrospect, Joss was kind of the celebrity "spokesperson".

Clark Gregg is adorable
Between Clark Gregg and Michael Rooker the saying, "There is no such thing as a small part, only small actors." stands true. So, don't half ass your lines or go through the motions just because you have 30 seconds of on screen time. Even Jason Mamoa is a house hold name because he was in a little over half a season of Game of Thrones, but nailed the shit out of it.
I guarantee that in this little show by Joss Whedon, whether it makes it or not, will be finely tuned to ALL Avengers-related movies of the past, and ALL of the future.
WHEDON is the most important person for the whole Marvel world!!

Ming-Na was in the updated Hawaii 5-0 television series and the Battlestar Galactica series so why wouldn't she be in Agents Of SHIELD? It's always interesting to see how SHIELD agent Phil Coulson who was killed off by Loki in The Avengers, reappears in this television show. I hope they reveal the answers on how he lives again.

I understand your point and you're not wrong, but Jason Momoa didn't find his way into my knowledgebase until Game of Thrones. I would bet that the majority of people who are familiar with him are currently aware of him for the same reason. Not that I'm disrespecting him in anyway. If anything I'm praising him for turning 9 episodes into an amazing display of his talent. He was also on a Baywatch show, but that still wasn't the vehicle that made him a house hold name, as I stated originally.

Coulson is alive. They just showed it. He is going to be heading up the new show as Phil Coulson, Agent of SHIELD. That would make it very difficult to also be an android built by Ultron (or anyone else for that matter.)
The whole point of the show is to showcase the non-superpowered agents of the organization. Not as a way to launch the Vision character.
I was chastising him as being a troll for saying otherwise.

As I commented on the X-Men: Days of Future Past, the Avengers Universe is SO much more organized and consistently congruent vs X-Men. This is specifically because Marvel is in charge of the Avengers Universe vs Fox in charge of the X-Men Universe and other failures (like Fantastic Four).
Marvel (Studios) care VERY MUCH about its product. Not that Fox does not, BUT the writers for the various movies don't keep up with one another (sad, but true)!
