Great memories!! It was a pleasure to show you guys around! We are very lucky here in NZ
What was the area you guys were hunting in and was it a 10/80X zone. Cheers
@@faka.umake.me.bizzzatch7458 near waimate. No 1080 dropped there
I always enjoy how you and Nicole and your friends take us all over the world with you on these amazing adventures! Thank you so much!
Odd, NZ allows suppressors and night vision hunting, but here in the US my state of California has made both of those things illegal. Crazy!
Guns in NZ are almost exclusively owned for hunting purposes, there's a big problem with invasive species so it's important they have access to the right tools for the job. Gun ownership in the US is very different.
We bought my son a .22 CZ457 in a Boyds AT-ONE for christmas so fun to see a similar setup.
Good to see another video - I subscribed to Jake's channel. Interesting to see hedgehogs there are invasive and a pest - a shame as I don't see enough of them here in the UK - but good to see that NZ takes reduction/prevention of invasive pests seriously.
It's not just the fact that they're an invasive pest. New Zealand split away from other land masses very early on and we didn't have any mammalian predators - so we ended up with a lot of very weird bird species that had literally no idea what a predator looked like, other than other bird species filling that predator role. Many of them became ground dwellers, and more than a few gave up flying. And many of them respond to something unusual by making a lot of noise and thus attracting attention. So when people arrived and bought predators (rats initially, and then mustelids, possums etc) many of a beautiful and very unique birds were wiped out. If we want to keep the ones that still exist, we really have no option but to take pest control very seriously.
Thank you for sharing your adventure.
Excellent show !! Great shots !!
Thank you for another awesome update.❤❤❤
Awesome work Matt!
I got the same Boyd's At one stock on my .22lr, it is not a GRS but still a great stock, awesome video!
crazy.... hedgehogs are an endangered species in the uk, and much loved by gardeners and yet at the otherside of the world they are a pest and in abundace.. looks a beautiful place...

That was very enjoyable 😎; I look forward to this series!
Which thermal and rifle were you using? Looks like a CZ 455?
I see that nobody has answered you, but Jake put the same videos up on his channel and I asked there and Jake was kind enough to answer - the rifle is a Chinese Norinco JW15 - basically a clone of the old Brno Model 1.
I didn't ask about the thermal.
Cheers.
Lekker. Wallabies are not big for a .22LR.
Spot idaman 👈

Where can we see fx halo content
Shoot off quad sticks
Why dont U use Hollow Point Rounds? That Eley is Either Tenex or Match from what I could see, none of those are Hunting Rounds
They were hollowpoints. We used solids to shoot steel earlier in the day, but hollowpoints for hunting.
@@AirArmsHuntingSA Hmm, you even explained in video that you need to shot him in the neck rather than skull because u use solid rounds
I thought hedgehogs were native to New Zealand???
Introduced from the UK. They eat almost anything including the eggs and young of our ground-nesting native birds.
The at one stock is garbage. It's way too heavy to be a viable carrying sized stock, and its hard edges make it uncomfortable, as well as the quality mine was it wasn't unletted very well at all. The corrosion resistance on the metal pieces sucked. Rusted in months. I was just very unimpressed.
I had no idea Rocko was a pest.
Coffee before bed ? How does that work ?😂
I always drink coffee before bed. Many people in SA do it.
@@L.V-Rider crazy..we never do in India
@@UTB365 Some say coffee keeps you awake. I never experienced that.
Coffee with toasted hot cross buns, lovely. U.K.
@AirArmsHuntingSA Where you hunting in a 10/80X zone
