This show practically made my childhood! It was one of the first Cartoon Network shows I saw and I enjoyed every second of it.
It’s one of those shows that bring up such beautiful and fond memories of my childhood. It’s also really great to hear other people look back and echo the same sentiments that I had growing up and still have to this day. I hope you enjoyed the video and I thank you for watching.

Ed, Edd n Eddy was and still my favorite cartoon of all time. I remember when this show was airing on TV. I was also there for the series finale Big Picture Show.

I feel the exact same way about this show. there are still scarecely few shows that bring the same amount of joy as the ed boys for me. I am going to watch a few today in honor of this great show.

It's hard to pick favorites, but "Dawn of the Eds" and "Little Ed Blue" are among my favs too! I also love "A Glass Of Warm Ed", "Hot Buttered Eds", "Once Upon A Ed" and "Wish You Were Ed" (the "That's My Horse!" song is one of the shows many highlights!). I could probably pick several more once I do my annual rewatch of the series! I've been a fan of this show since I saw the preview of it on an old Powerpuff Girls VHS tape! Also, "A Fistful Of Ed" (the "last episode" before the movie, not counting the two episodes made for the aborted season six) is one of the few times I've ever cried watching a cartoon! I absolutely LOVED watching this show as a kid (especially with my grandparents at their old countryside house) and this show has only gotten better with time, and it NEVER fails to make me laugh, or at least put a smile on my face! It is truly one of the all time greatest cartoons ever. This was a great retrospective, I loved watched your podcasts with the cast and crew of the show, and I look forward to whatever future vids you have in store surrounding the Eds! Cheers to AKA Cartoon Inc for their hard work to bring us this all time great show!

It’s innate ability to make you smile just goes to show you why this series has stood the test of time. It’s timeless and I’m glad I got to experience it as a kid and I’m glad I got to experience it in a different fashion, as an adult, talking with all of these amazing guests
Ed Edd n' Eddy was truly like no other show before and after it. I had a blast watching it as a kid. Happy 25th!
It was a instant classic. I count myself lucky to have been growing up when I was. Some of the greatest cartoons of all time were during this era!
I think I've said it before, but I am sincerely grateful you chose to go out of your way to interview all these great folks at AKA cartoons to help shed light on the inner workings of this series that means so much to me and so many others
My favorite episodes are It came from outer Ed and Over your Ed, I think they make for an excellent showcase for Ed's strengths as a character. Both episodes essentially let Ed try to pull in the money for Eddy, but Ed either has his own plans or is completely indifferent entirely. He's just doing his own thing, and trying to put him in charge in any kind of way just amplifies how indifferent he is to it all to a comical degree. I think it's kinda funny you chose all ed-centric episodes as well, he's definitely a character that can be utilized in highly memorable ways, I love Dawn of the Eds, Day the Ed stood still, and Little Ed blue as well, but I very much respect how much everyone got out of writing Ed in episodes like It came from outer Ed where he acts closer to how he would in any other episode and highlighting all of the things I already liked about Ed and taking them as far as possible. Making a "dumb guy" character funny is very difficult I've noticed, but everyone at AKA did an excellent job getting as much as they could out of a character like that, and I think he's easily one of the best "dumb guy" characters of all time.

My childhood! I was 6 years old when this was introduced to me. Ever since then I loved this show 🥹💕 now my nephew loves them!

There's nothing like Ed, Edd n Eddy, one of the Cartoon Network classics! It's my favorite show. Can't believe it's the 25th anniversary of this show & the Powerpuff Girls.
Ed, Edd n Eddy is one of the shows, my brother and I would watch together. The good times and laughs we had! I love the episode A Glass of Warm Ed, where Ed was sleepwalking and eating all of the neighborhood's food. The music and antics in the episode is hilarious.

Thank you for writing in and sharing that beautiful story about you and your brother watching this and having such a good time together. I really think the staying power of this show was everything I mentioned and how much this show brought everyone together. I’ve been lucky enough to hear so many stories where people watched this with their friends, family, significant others, pets even. We could all relate because we saw ourselves and we saw those same people that we watched it with, within the characters. I hope you enjoyed the video and I thank you for watching.

I love this show as well. It's funny, relatable and got better as each season went on. I admit outside of Rolf, I don't really like the other kids on the Cul-de-sac (although Johnny has his moments and Nazz is pretty chill and friendly most of the time), but they all resemble someone everyone has met. I hate Kevin and Sarah, but let's be honest, everyone has met a Kevin and Sarah, and to their credit, their voice actors did an incredible job at capturing their personalities. I do like the Kankers, they're funny. And Ed is my favorite as well, he's just so funny and lovable. Ed, Ed n Eddy is right up there as one of my top favorite Cartoon Network shows of all time and it keeps holding up to this day. Classic show.

Something I noticed is that Ed, Edd n Eddy seems to have the most active and loyal online fanbase of the 90s Cartoon Network shows even if Powerpuff Girls was a bigger money maker with all the merch and many call it their favorite Cartoon Network show of that time period
It kind of reminds me how ive seen many call Hey Arnold their favorite 90s Nicktoon aside from SpongeBob and it seems to have the most active and loyal online fanbase aside from SpongeBob (I say aside from SpongeBob since the series is still airing after 25 years, so its a bit unfair to say), even if Rugrats was a bigger success in terms of money and everything
EENE does have a very active and loyal fan base that is for sure. I don’t know to much about the other things you mentioned. There really wasn’t a lot of merch for most of those series that was released to the masses. I don’t compare what shows make what or how many more eps, movies, specials, etc they get in comparison. I just try to enjoy it for what it is. Is it funny? Is it thought provoking? Do I enjoy it? Those are some of the things I grade a show on. As I’ve gotten older I’ve tried to veer away from things like this is better than that and just appreciate the art form.

When I saw Twitter posts last week, I legit went "Holy shit, it's been 25 years..."
First of all, I loved that you were able to do an episode with Sam, Matt and Tony. Tony especially since he's hard to get after being blacklisted. Great stuff... As for the Eds, two things come to mind:
1. I remember my mom banning me from watching the show around 2001 because I developed a bad habit of calling every person around me a dork. Being the rebellious child I was, I would just watch behind her back. What she didn't know won't hurt her. She eventually relented around the time Season 5 aired.
2. I have a lot of Cartoon Network VHS recordings, but one thing I missed, and one of my only regrets relating to my collection, was a 5 hour marathon of the Eds from around 2007. I had it saved on my TV service but I never copied it to DVD or even VHS, and boy that sucks...
Either way, this has been my favourite show for over 20 years and I'm super thankful it holds up! Favourite episode for me has to be "It Came From Outer Ed". I love the Curse of Evil Tim! As for my wife, she'll always go for "The Day The Ed Stood Still". She's a massive Godzilla and Kaiju fan and Ed wanting to be a monster just makes her laugh herself silly.
Dude! Thank you so much for sharing this story, I really appreciate seeing what and how other fans consumed these amazing series, so thank you! I WISH I was as smart as you and saved the recordings to put on a DVD. You remember, or did you ever Futurama? If so remember when Fry bought back his life before he was frozen, all of the old vhs tapes that had the commercials on it from 1999? I miss seeing the shows with those old commercials interlaced in between the different acts of the show I was watching at the time. And to think I use to HATE commercials. Now I’ll find myself from time to time (when I have time) going and checking out some of the old commercials that would play when I was growing up.

Ed edd n eddy really stood the test of time. I laugh hard at it as much as kid growing up.

My most favorite episode of Ed Edd N’ Eddy is the one where they literally broke reality as we know it because of the obscene amount of 4th wall breaking.

This series is one those shows were it’s not out of the realm of possibility that any ep would crack someone’s top fav list

Whatever I'm going to say doesn't make sense but i tried but. Man! I haven't seen this show since forever. I remember there was a game and movie off of it. This show still holds a special place in my heart. When i played the game the Mis Ed-venture, it made me think liking the show and games together. And same thing with the movie, Big Picture show. 3 things i like as a 2000s kid. Movies, cartoons and games all 3 together. Watch and played great ones. Like Twisted Metal Black, Jay and Silent Bob strike back, Cat scratch, Call of duty World at War, Clerks 2, Martin Mystery and the rest.
But that all changed when 2009 was coming to an end for different directions. 2009 did end great era's on a high note. I'll never forget those years.
You listed some great episodes. My personal favorite is Boom Boom out goes the Ed (the one where the power goes out, and Kevin and Rolf go into the sewer).

Dawn of the Ed’s, avast ye Ed’s, Urban Ed, Know it all Ed, an Ed is born, they call him Mr. Ed, who what where ed. there’s just so many to choose from. I’m trying to avoid once upon an ed and one + one = ed but those are also classics. I’m excited to know what yours are. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who loved the Eds super zaney adventures.
Fan base is a very big one. So many folks love this show
