The general consensus is that it's best to have max downforce for both front and rear. The car sticks to the road much better and you can fly through those corners like an F1 car.
Yep the advantage you get with being able to take corners faster and have higher exit speeds is more than the little bit of extra acceleration you get from less downforce.
I personally prefer having the maximum grip in the fronts so the car can change it's direction almost instantly with a stiffer suspension, this drasticaly decreases understeer, but I also let the rear downforce lower to induce the car more to oversteer and take some corners faster, specially in the rain, but for that, I make the rear suspension softer so it mantains just enough grip to keep the car as stable as a high downforce setup, does it actually work? I don't know, but the car also does some pretty sweet powerslides, and while it's working I like it

Can you make a video about comparing default drive train vs tuned drive train ? I watch this video and tune my car, but when i see the lap time in the test, the result its almost the same. Nothing is really changing to my lap time.
The unfortunate answer is it depends on the car. The corolla for example, actually is best with the stock differential. Which can't even be tuned but yields the best lap results for speed runners. Every car has a different ratio that works best and it depends on your driving style too.
Hey buddy... You can always try to adjust your settings more for example pushbyour car more towards the acceleration side, make your gears a bit shorter and see how it goes. If you tune it for circuit races, it will be best at circuit races, it might also work on sprints... But it will be a bit off from drag, drift, street x and etc... But it will still be able to do it 👌 to tune your car for each kind of race will be to extreme 🤦 but you will do better yes :)

Hi. I'm using Profile Creator to have this car from the beginning (start of the game). I have all the special performance unique parts for it. In a game I chose ECU upgrade in another I chose the turbo over the ECU. What I'm saying is I don't understand how you have those ECU AND turbo bars so high. I have the european version of the game with latest patch. You have both of them with different bars setup by default bigger than mine specially the turbo (that bar between 7 and 8 x 1000 rpm is HUGE). I have a feeling that you are useing a NFS editing program. Do you? In stage 3 I chose engine over transmission and tires. In stage 4 in a game I chose ECU in another Turbo and in stage 5 I chose nitrous oxides. Can you help me please with an answer with what am I missing? Thank you in advance.
Hi, no this is just the nomal nfs, just know that every nfs cat has difderemt specs, such as some has more rpm, some has less, some can take more boost and others not, so just try it on the same car and look if it's similar :)
There is a lot of "I think it's good", but what I would like to see is lap times before and after the tuning - numbers don't lie. Also the only correct car is Toyota Corolla in this game, the rest is there just to not call it NFS Corolla.

No problem i will make one... :) street x is a small track with lots of turns, my opinion is short gears, the shorter the better, you will never even reach your top speed so its not necessary to have such long gears, also the shorter the gear the more acceleration, meaning quick in a corner and quicker out 👌
i think you will need shorter gears and more acceleration for street X, also the driving aspect is important, like the timing when you'll hit the brake before a sharp turn and when to do full acceleration for the straight part of the track
For example this car, when it got on the Dyno I could see all 4 wheels turning. If only the Front ones turns then its FWD and then the same same with RWD :)

@@TheOverclock thanks im going to trade in my audi tt for the mitsubishi is it worth it on carrer mode to trade in my Audi TT for a Mitsubishi Eclipse? Btw the Audi has none upgrades just plain car
The TT is very good :) i wouldn't trade it in, but i would trade it in for the Hyundai Tiburon and the Subaru WRX ☺️ but personal references, this game you can finish the career with almost any car on easy mode 👌
@@TheOverclock GG my guy I am on part 5 of the game on easy mode and I bought the Hyundai Tiburon a while back I will use that car
how do you tell if a car is front wheel or rear?
i Made a video specifically about it :) it will show you and explain much better. but going on the dyno usually shows you as well... just look at which wheels are turning and standing still :)
Which dyno mode is responsible for free roam?
You can use circuit if you want to... Its about the closest :)
where can i actually see if my car is fwd/rwd/4wd??
super helpful tutorial though!
Thank you... I made a video to show how you can see it... But easiest way is, go to the dyno and look which wheels turns :)
@@TheOverclock oh crap yeah that makes a lot of sense lol... should've thought of that...
OH and i was also thinking. so you can tune your car for all the different types of races but do you have to tune your car for eery race individually? or is it that if i tune my car in circuit mode, the same tune settings are applied to all different races aswell?
If you tune it for circuit races, it will be best at circuit races, it might also work on sprints... But it will be a bit off from drag, drift, street x and etc... But it will still be able to do it 👌 to tune your car for each kind of race will be to extreme 🤦 but you will do better yes :)
how did you get it on widescreen?
It is a graphics mod that I am using :) have a look at my nfs U2 playlist, the how to video is there :)
Thank you
Glad i could help :)
Here because I bought a toyota supra and in my first curve my car turned into a bayblade, insane 😅
is it work for AWD FWD or RWD?
The idea is for all 3 yes, you will just have to play a bit with your settings like i did until your happy :) i also did make a video on how to tune awd, fwd and rwd, you can quickly find it under my NFS U2 playlist
does it work for fwd cars like rsx
Yes... For all cars... FWD you might wana make the gears a bit longer because it might spin a lot
@@TheOverclock does the suspension setup really differ
Yes it does... Search for how to tune your fwd car in need for speed underground 2... Then you watch my video on that... Or just search for it in my nfs u2 playlist :)
@@TheOverclock thx man
Next tune setting drag bro!
I have already done it 😜 search for AWD,RWD or FWD in nfs U2 tunes :) you will probably stumble down on them
Hi, no this is just the nomal nfs, just know that every nfs cat has difderemt specs, such as some has more rpm, some has less, some can take more boost and others not, so just try it on the same car and look if it's similar :)
mate can you make tutorial for Pro Package?
Hi, hope all is well...??? Do you mean like where to get the pro package...???
The Overclock I mean how to tune car, when you only got Pro Package?😂😂
Lol well the same suspensions and ecu + turbo tuning will be the same... The only difference will be the gear ratio will be smaller 😬😬😬😬😬
How to open level 3????
You will need to finish the campaign :)
There is a lot of "I think it's good", but what I would like to see is lap times before and after the tuning - numbers don't lie. Also the only correct car is Toyota Corolla in this game, the rest is there just to not call it NFS Corolla.
the name of your account efsane means is legend in turkish
Right 🤣 what an awesome name!
Apart from drift and drag, Toyota Corolla is the best you can have for everything else.
They sre really good cars... :)
@@TheOverclock I tried many times to post a lengthy comment but it didn't show up.. I think it's pending your approval - so sorry if I spammed the thread !
I will have a quick look
No nothing sorry
Hey Türk müsün yoksa :D Arabanın adı "efsane" ???
English sorry :(
@@TheOverclock I've asked whether you are a Turk or not, because your car's name is 'efsane', which means 'legend' in Turkish, but apparently you aren't a Turk :)
No i am sorry :( the save file was actually from a Turk person that completed the game, i just used his saved profile :)
Street X guide plz
No problem i will make one... :) street x is a small track with lots of turns, my opinion is short gears, the shorter the better, you will never even reach your top speed so its not necessary to have such long gears, also the shorter the gear the more acceleration, meaning quick in a corner and quicker out 👌
@@TheOverclock Thank you!!
i think you will need shorter gears and more acceleration for street X, also the driving aspect is important, like the timing when you'll hit the brake before a sharp turn and when to do full acceleration for the straight part of the track
good forgotted game :( nfsu 2
I know right :(:(:(
@@TheOverclock :( but AWSOMEE GAME :)
0:42 how can you tell its 4 wheel drive? 😀
Edit...seriously, I'm genuinely asking. How do you know what type of drive a car is?
For example this car, when it got on the Dyno I could see all 4 wheels turning. If only the Front ones turns then its FWD and then the same same with RWD :)
@@TheOverclock OOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Haha thanks man, see what happend was i downloaded the profile efsane as this profile had everything unlocked, so it's easier to make videos that way than to start a new game and do everything over 🤣🤦
