蘆薈洗顏皂DIY - how to make aloe vera handmade soap - 手工皂

My neighor gave me a lot of aloe vera and it took me a whole day in the weekend to cut and take the gel. Now I have a lot of gel stock and I can make so many aloe soaps in the future.
This recipe is designed for the facial use of neutral to oil skin. The rice bran oil provides the fresh touch and the cocoa butter enhances the durability. The materials are good enough, there is no need to make more patterns on it.

    Recipe:
    Rice bran 30%
    Sweet almond oil 20%
    Coconut oil 15%
    Palm oil 25%
    Cocoa butter 10%
Water as % of oils 34%
    1.75 % superfat (lye discount)
Hope this helps someone save some time trying to figure out the recipe for a different mold size :)

Thanks for it, Marie. The saponification value (to Naoh) I used for this recipe of coconut oil is 0.184, this will vary a bit from each lot (I checked the COA from supplier every time).

The reason why it looks smooth was that it was blended mostly hand. I also make soaps and aloe vera is one of the most moisturizing soaps. I was just worried about the number of plastics used. It has a zip and yet she cut it instead of washing and reusing it for her next batch. Nice video though. I was entertained and her stamp was so cute.

    如果真的要分開,或許可以裝入有分隔的硅膠模,可以比膠袋重用更多次~
    很多人買手工皂都是為了可以做到zero waste,製造肥皂的過程也附合eco-friendly的話就最貼近的零廢生活~
    希望大家都會留意過程中的小細節,及愛護環境🧡

    • @MishaXu
      @MishaXu 4 года назад +4

      冷凍蘆薈汁是為了降溫,手工皂在加氫氧化鈉的時候會產生大量的熱能。一般溫度的水在夏天的情況下,溫度可以直接升到七十左右(差距很大,但是多為六十以上,有時候還會到八十攝氏,而它必須降溫至四十五度以下才能繼續做油鹼混合)。也會產生嗆鼻的煙,所以如果用常溫的就必須戴上護目鏡以及口罩,且溫度也可能殺死植物中的養分。所以一般都會做冷凍處理。

I like the recipe, but why not making the ice cubes in reusable trays? it will avoid such a terrible WASTE of PLASTIC! one of the reasons I make my own soap is to avoid plastics that are filling our oceans and the whole earth. Please consider reducing your plastic use (specially sinlge use ones) and #gozerowaste!

Sandra Polonio shes literally making her own soap a lot of people don't even do that, some people always have to nit pick all the negatives 🙄🙄🙄🙄

    • @sandrapolonio4532

@@Za-vg4bz of course it's great she is making her own soap, and most people watching this video will make their own as well. But my comment is not about nit picking but about raising awareness about unnecessary use of plastic, and perhaps by reading it, some people will think twice and avoid some extra plastic. That is my only purpose, and doesn't take anything away of the possitive things of her video. If you see it as a negative comment, maybe the negativity is on you.

of course she can reuse the plastic packets again-they look very reusable to me.
