great fun- but the descriptions of the causes seems to be a source of greater confusion. the pencil tops with the thread holding the toy from moving closer to the stronger magnetic field on top so the string actually aligns the object for greatest effect?the balls moving up towards the plate appears that its statica;lly charged and as the ball comes in contact it gains an electron and falls back into the mass of orbs which should allow the electron to transfer that it gained but instead prevents other orbs from ascending to the top but if there were less orbss in the bowl the effect may be altered in that all the orbs may ascend

1:30 What you can see is only possible by looking at the video. The phenomenon occurs when the disk rotation synchronizes with the FPS of the cameras. It is the same with the propeller. In the video you can see if it is standing still or changing the direction of a slow rotation, but in fact it is simply spinning at high speed.

This video needs to be at the front of our children's learning. Showing them that physics can be fun while educating them. This is where our future scientists, doctors, astronauts, inventors, etc. will come from. I am a commercial diver by trade and if my parents didn't show me the fun of physics who knows where I would be today? 🪡
