Moiré Season's Greetings: rotational moiré pattern generation on a Winter Holiday card from MoMA. The pattern of lines on a transparent top layer (green) is rotated over an identical mirror image pattern (red) creating the characteristic and complex moiré interference patterns.

Same to you ♥️
Same 2 you we always enjoy all your videos
Don't go on any books because some foolish writers say wrong things from that gentleman in books but in reality the gentleman had not said. Always follows your own feelings. If you gone on world, world will destroy your mind and then the true soul will die.
I never follows any religion but foolish peoples make my religion.
No one has any religion but the world make her religion.
I seen some foolish peoples that says pig, that elephant on dirt.
When I worked at Radio Shack (late 1970s, early 1980s), we sold an infinity mirror that was later used in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (in Spock's personal quarters). Glad to see them making a come-back!
thanks for sharing :D
I'm guessing, for the brain teaser, that while the small metal disc was in your hand the temperature of your body was enough to cause it to expand and flatten out. Then, as it cooled to room temperature it hit a point where it contracted rapidly creating enough force to defy gravity for a few moments. However, it should be noted that moments before blasting off the small metal disc whipped out a pair of shades, struck a pose, and shouted, "THERMAL EXPANSION BABY!!! WOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo…………..."
I really love his extra help for providing that extra link for INDIAN visitors. And the best channel for cool mind bending physics stuff. I really love your channel!
Physics is really Unimaginable........
Loved the Infinity Light with 3 bubble lights. Quietly festive and mesmerizing. Couldn't find it on the Amazon link though. The 3 in 1 book was also fascinating.
My dad put those infinity bubble lights on our Christmas tree in the 60s.
"I believe there is another world waiting for us. A better world. And I'll be waiting for you there."
Physics and music match up so, that’s a nice thing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Blessings from Belgium 🇧🇪. For everyone who is visiting this channel, “ Happy Holidays “ make it a wonderful 2020. Gün.
Illuminature...cool variation on an old technique...color filtering like that used in early 3D systems.
I ve been following you for 2 and a half years now and will follow u till death
I really love the background music
Now if I can remember these for Christmas.
nice quiz solution :p
Awesome amazing
I love sciences nature without never alive science & nature keep it up
We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too.
It's my birthday today :D
Happy birthday :)
Happy birthday
LoL
Happy B-day!
Happy birthday, sorry for little late responce
Merry cristmas
We are fasinated by your work, keep going on.
Thank Shreyas :)
they are steel
,
and they are pressed in the middle and become concave
,
after that, they are placed with the "hole" down
,
and when the steel returns to its original shape (concave in the opposite direction) it jumps.
Sorry for my English.
beautiful! thanks!
Happy Christmas Physics For Fun 🎄
Love all of these gadgets, and the music. And Happy Holidays!
Happy holidays :)
This is a curved surface coin.
When it is pressed in the opposite side of the curvature
It gains potential energy which is punched out to pop the coin..
Icy bodies was awesome
Killer vid as always..please adopt me great toys..MERRY CHRISTMAS...
I like all this nice gadgets and i allready have the allways right looking arrow.
These are the coolest toys! Dang, I could fill a house with these and be constantly entertained.
thank you
The coin thing might be in the concave or convex shape and as we press them and release them they tend to get in their original shape.
And the music was good
Bubble lights have made a come back as tree ornaments but they're not cheap and no where near as long on the string as before.
COOL TOYS! And about the music, it's just fine. Pleasant enough and doesn't distract from the video content.
As always another great video and awesome magical products/inventions
Yes i really like the music
Background music is so beautiful, without music video is not interesting.I liked your videos before watch till end.
thanks for your words :)
@@physicsfun Thank you for making these videos.

and World of Colors (2010).
👍....and the music is fine.....JRZ
I think heat was applied to the two metallic discs and discs are not perfect plain.
Best creature ever,
Quite a few years ago, someone made a 5 ft wooden cube and the interior lined with mirrors. There was also a line of small light bulbs along each edge. While siting inside with a video camera he made a video that looked like infinity in all directions.
It's all nostalgic❤️
Love the music
As you press the coin it changes shape slightly, which gives it potential energy like a spring. At the same time the heat from your hands cause the metal to expand slightly which causes the coin to hold the pressed down shape. Once the coin has cooled down enough, it then contracts which releases the potential energy and jumps into the air like a spring.... Maybe. Lol.
Loved the video didnt like music tho
Without you there's no us
The illuminature book is such a cool idea. Would be an interesting way to tell a story from multiple perspectives.
Wow amazing
Crazy music, for fantastic Ex...
La " galaxy lamp " a au moins 40 ans !
I thought also by using magnet if the balls are of magnetic materials like iron
Amazed !!!!👍👍👍
Can your stuff get sent to a country?
Because idk that’s in my country or not
the coin shapes are slightly parabolic and release stored energy to pop up
9:42 Baby Mozart Music Festival (1998).
Some kind of temperature change in bodies of objects probably 🤔

Santa never says to kill any animal or to take drugs or do wrong things but the foolish peoples do wrong things ever, they can't do any right thing.
Santa is who makes every body balance and do things on feelings.
Santa is who describe truth on seeing, not in writing.

Where one can get these gadgets?
Please read video description for details.
Nice 👍
Thanks for the visit
Music is relatively adequate... thanks for asking
What makes the ice spin like that?
Dry Ice, aka frozen carbon dioxide, is volatile when added to water, essentially exploding into gaseous form as it warms up in the water. The "jets" of gas escaping from the chunk of ice is an un-contained rocket thrust that moves the ice in different directions continually.
@@jaquigreenlees Amazing! Thanks for the explanation :)
Because of the store potential energy in the coin
The lights are following the beat at 7:45
For the quiz: you flipped them inside out so they popped
Flick and spin around?
Semmma Super👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

hii
hello :)
bad music too loud too repetitive. Not needed.
seriously whos watching in 2025 😂😂😂
Wow, lame and stupid all melded together with crappo music.
Really great stuff here. The puzzle at the end is a bimetallic coin with two layers of metal that respond to heat differently. The metal is warmed and pressed in by your fingers. When you put it on the table they cool down at different rates, so when the one side contracts faster than the other it causes the disc to restore its flat form at a critical point making it pop up. My grandfather had coins like that about 35+ years ago, when I was a kid.
Well played sir, well played indeed
I do DIY repairing on small appliances - e-kettles have these in the overheat cutout near to the element and in the switch where steam is directed at the bimetallic disk to turn it off when boiling.
