Game changer for people who live in their cars or go camping. Edit: I hope we can get this in Right Hand Drive. Would love to get it for my dad, very useful for hooking up equipment and being an F150 it can go anywhere.
Man, I just got my F-150 Hybrid Platinum 7.2 Kw. The best car I ever have. I got almost 700 miles/30 gallon thank. Funny thing is when you pump gas it's shows 465 to empty. As you drive the numbers keep going up and up
How's it hanging with the truck now ? I'm thinking of getting one very similar, me being in the electrical field on onboard power plays an essential role within boundaries of needing it in off-grid work environments.
What about the ground fault detected during test of pro power boost electrical circuit? They saying it's normal? Did U guys get software updates yet? Now they daying software updates by Sept 2023. They trying to fix that issue for about 2 years now. Pls respond asap so I don't take my new truck back to the dealer. Thanks.
Thank you, Antuan. Please keep up the great work. I really like this addition to ford, now if they can get their interiors upscale in competition with Ram, that would be something for us all. Are you listening Chevy?
Ford needs to put the powerboost powertrain with the 7.2 Kw system in the Expedition/Navigator, it'd be great for families that go camping alot or farmers/construction people who need an SUV.
Ihear you bud! From what I have read... its coming! I am ready to trade my 22' expy when it comes with the genny. My powerboost f150 keeps my whole house up during outages... let's hope ford does the expy too!
That mythical hydrogen pickup will not be silent when it arrives. Maybe for this application the fans will be quieter than the environment but every H2 car I've driven so far has been pretty loud especially compared with an EV that wasn't running the AC compressor at full bore, heck even with a Model X screaming with both front and 3rd row AC cranked to maximum after running hot laps.
Compared to a Prius it's damn quiet. It's shocking how loud a Prius engine is when you lift up the bonnet thus remove the sound deadening. The problem with H2 Fuel Cell is not sound, the fuel's physical characteristics is stupid to use as energy medium. 0.08988 grams per Litre Density.
@@Neojhun all the ones I've driven were as loud as a Prius revving up a mountain when they were at idle (not with them in EV mode though as then they're pretty silent like other EVs) I 💯 agree using H2 as a fuel right now doesn't make any sense unless you need like 100% uptime or something like an airplane where the weight of current batteries are still to low on power/energy to weight ratio
Sure but not during the watching, Flat Screen TV consume soo little energy it's a small proportion of the battery pack. IIRC This has a 1.5Kwh battery, LED TVs are like 100 watts (per hour).

@@FCES_Electrical_Sol the truck is running great. With over 40k miles know and still running like brand new
@@hilianoisabella built Ford tough.

My spring in the back outlets got loose on the 1st day when I tested the power back there ? Now they have to change the springs ... really?
I’d like to see the pro power onboard system on the super duty. Ideal towing capacity and able to power your camper
Yeah, charging my Kia Soul EV with the hybrid, would be pretty cool, I'm not much of a tailgate guy
Nice video. I say go big or go home. If your springing for a new truck, just get the 7000 watt option.
You can really literally live in your car off grid wow 🤩 imagine how many f150 in the future you’ll see at quartzsite 😂
Thank you, Antuan. Please keep up the great work.

i will plug in my home just like how some folks did in Texas Great video thanks
Good job antuan. Nice demo
A 'touch' more capable? Every one else is light years away 😂
I take mine camping. Sometimes we boondock and its our power for ac unit and tv ,fridge. All night long

A $80,000.00 tail gate 🎉!
A nice and well worth the price 😃
the power isnt free, youre gonna have to run the engine more to recoup the charge
Can you not get a plug in hybrid f150?
