Superman: The Movie was Superman's fourth theatrical feature, not the first. There were the two theatrical serials and Superman And The Mole Men before that. Christ, I know way too much about Superman.
Joseph Lowry she was the one who made these weight loss drinks with kryptonite enhanced stuff that gave her powers to drain people so she could lose weight.
Funnily enough the Robin Hood thing does go deeper than Man Of Steel. Julian Sands (the physical Jor-El from Smallville) was in a Robin Hood movie and John Schneider (Jonathan Kent, also in Smallville) was a "modern day Robin Hood" according to the Dukes of Hazzard theme song. But I'm afraid all the rest are unaffiliated as far as I know. George Lazenby, David Warner, Eddie Jones, Glenn Ford, Stuart Whitman, and a few other assorted actors as Jonathan Kent (or Eben as he was known early on) and Jor-El have never been Robin Hood. Jesus... I really do know WAY too much about Superman.
Technically speaking, Superman isn't particularly weak against magic, he's just not totally invulnerable to it. It affects him just as it would a normal human.
Lol out of all the fact videos and top 10 channels, yours is the best lol! Not only do i learn interesting things but i also get a really good laugh out of all your videos xD!
Yes, they had to invent a magic rock just so he'd have a weakness. I'm not a fan, obviously, so I would like to know from someone who is: If all his power comes from the sun, isn't his power limited to no more than what sunshine he absorbs? Like, didn't he sneeze and explode a galaxy or something? That would take more power than all the energy in our sun. And if his heat vision is that solar energy coming straight out of his body, wouldn't that substantially weaken him every time he uses it?
+secrettangerine Kal El's powers don't exactly work like that. He _metabolizes_ yellow solar energy and uses it to accomplish the amazing feats that he does. Since he's basically a living solar cell and constantly absorbs solar energy 24/7, he never truly expends all of the energy he takes in. (We won't discuss his new solar burst power, ugh) A great example is Superman 1 million, an alternate future Kal that slept within the heart of a sun for 15k years. Crazy, huh?
It makes a little more sense that he basically stores the solar energy up, but that still means he could never perform something that uses more energy than the sun, like on the galactic scale, or even a solar system bigger than ours. For example, let's say he uses every last drop of nuclear energy the sun will produce in its entire lifetime all at once, it wouldn't be as powerful as all the energy from a star simply bigger than our sun.
Good video; you put in a lot of work. A couple corrections: The first Superman feature film was 1951's Superman and the Mole Men. The first cover to feature Supes and Batman was 1940's World's Fair Comics #2.
"It's a bird, it's a plane" it's 101 awesome facts about our Man of Steel that should've included George Reeves, the animated series and the adventures of Lois and Clark! Stay safe and keep it up!
Super Powered Migets lol thats gold. Whoever came up with that needs a medal. Also how do u bite superman do vampire fangs count as magic or something?
Got a 102nd for you: Smallville was actually given a noted distance in the comics from a larger town. 55 miles west of Salina Kansas. Which puts it in my home area right in the middle of the state.
Superman is not invincible he just gets stronger over the years of the comic books and movies so he is an super hero who will never die and will never stop being one of the world's most known hero's. Also superman has more weaknesses than what you mentioned in the video. superman is really smart
Aaron Smel-whoever did not play the toddler Superman who caught the truck in the 78 film. That was an actor called Lee Quigley who died at the age of fourteen because he was prick enough to start sniffing glue. He did however play the photo booth boy in Superman 3 and the infant Superman on Krypton.
Why does Superman love ppl with L.L initials, I mean Louis Lane, (something thag starts with L) lang and like 2 other ppl with L.L initials were his girlfriends!
Sam and team, you should redo 101 Superman Facts and include details on the original short serials, 3 TV shows, and animated appearances. I was surprised none of these were covered...
Could you do a 101 facts on Teen Titans next? :3 I adored the original show, well.....actually I still do. And am still SUPER pissed it was canceled and replaced by the garbage Teen Titans Go but I digress. A video would be awesome ^^
On one of the last facts, thank god that script didnt go through. Its getting a little exhausting having producers kill off your favorite characters just for the sake of being "edgy".
They did film the musical number “can you read my mind” and it was supposed to be in Lois’ head. I remember seeing it and thinking how out of place it was. SMH
Superman: The Movie was Superman's fourth theatrical feature, not the first. There were the two theatrical serials and Superman And The Mole Men before that. Christ, I know way too much about Superman.
When I was younger I always recognised the bat symbol more than the S symbol
Yeah. The bat symbol is way more recognizable. However both the House of El and Batman symbols have many different designs.
Stepped right over the Lois and Clark show. Also the fact that Amy Adams also was in the first season of Smallville as one of the kryptonite villains.
Who does she play?
Joseph Lowry she was the one who made these weight loss drinks with kryptonite enhanced stuff that gave her powers to drain people so she could lose weight.
"Superman can't have a father that hasn't been Robin Hood at some point."
Marlon Brando.
Funnily enough the Robin Hood thing does go deeper than Man Of Steel. Aquaman pajamas! I never would have noticed that. :-D
Technically speaking, Superman isn't particularly weak against magic, he's just not totally invulnerable to it. It affects him just as it would a normal human.
I think the only good thing about Superman III, was the Superman vs Clark scene. I've tried to wipe IV from my memory--no luck, though.
Ehm you actually completely skipped Lois and Clark The new adventures of superman. Personally I like that one most, because clark is not a dweep.
I know that Superman would most likely kick Batman's ass, but Batman is so much cooler. Sorry Soops!
Subjective..
Good lad
Alltime Conspiracies supes is better

Does Superman's near invincibility make him a boring superhero?
Not at all. In All-Star Superman his powers were tripled and he was written excellently.

That's the British way Henry Cavell !!!! Cavell is love, Cavell is life
Good video; you put in a lot of work. A couple corrections: The first Superman feature film was 1951's Superman and the Mole Men. The first cover to feature Supes and Batman was 1940's World's Fair Comics #2.
How badass would Muhammad Ali donning the cape have been?
biohazard724 Would have been very weird, because they actually had a punch-up in one comic edition. Ali won.
#getthefuckoutofhere
Dude, Muhammad Ali in a cape would be some legendary comic book stuff. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee
This was so #inspirational
You completely missed the 1950s TV show, and the controversial death of George Reeves.
edlaprade really? pretty much everyone who played him in the olden days got bad luck
"It's a bird, it's a plane" it's 101 awesome facts about our Man of Steel that should've included George Reeves, the animated series and the adventures of Lois and Clark! Stay safe and keep it up!
Brandon routh is also atom in dc legends of tomorrow

That superman sign is easily one of THE most popular signs without a doubt!
Strange that there was no mention that there was a stage musical of Superman.

Superman’s eyes certainly are always dreamy. 😂😂😂😍😍😍
I Always Knew Spacey Was Nuts

Poor Clive... that was his 4th job he'd lost this year.
FACT 102: The Superman suit used in Smallville is actually the same one used in Superman Returns.
#13:09 I love you man, but the actress that played Lois Lane was Margot Kidder, not Sarah Douglas.
Michael Rosenbaum who played Lex Luthor in Smallville also played The Flash
I like the way how the other tabs on your browser besides Rotten Tomatoes are Jennifer Lawrence and Kryptonite wedding ring.
cool vid B~)
What's the name of the song used in the video?
On one of the last facts, thank god that script didnt go through. Its getting a little exhausting having producers kill off your favorite characters just for the sake of being "edgy".
Superman was INSPIRED by Jesse Owens Blessings and HUGS! 👑💜

The 1994 film Speechless starring Michael Keaton and Christopher Reeve is a what-if Batman v Superman movie
great video
Number 102:The Super Computer of Superman III is a redressed Bat Cave Atomic pile. Even then, Batman was vs. Superman.
Superman doesn't have a weakness to magic, it can just break past his Bio-Electric Aura, making him as vulnerable to it as a human.
Depends on the writer
you forgot to mention in Injustice he is a violent dictator who stuffs enemies into gulags...
You didn't mention my favourite superman incarnation: Lois and Clark the New Adventures of Superman with Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher.
