About #94. A serious contender to get the part of Strange was yet another character who has quite an experience in portraying a sorcerer. There even were pictures of him in the Doctor Strange suit with greyed hair and all. This actor is none other than Daniel Radcliffe!

It works for me. The explanation given makes sense; a title handed down. I like Tilda as an actress. Even in movies that aren't great, she shines. But if she is Celtic I wish they influenced her appearance with European mysticism instead of the "There is no spoon." boy. I don't know, druids or something.
Compared to the "Mandarin" being a white dude in Iron Man 3. They could have made him Asian. Just don't stereotype him like James Wong in "Big Trouble In Little China". You look at some of the comic book art it's cringy. Hell, with the name "Mandarin" they could have cast a bad ass Asian woman.

Victor Hugo was a french poet and one of his creation "The man who laughs" is inspiration for DC Joker.
I mentioned that fact in another comment from a while back, but after watching this again, I decided to look for other comments on the fact that Victor Hugo was a famous author who inspired many different things over the years--including The Joker--but was never mentioned in this script! Enjoyed the presentation; lots of fascinating trivia and tidbits of treasures. One thing though, if you could decrease the volume of the background music, it would make it a lot easier to understand what you're saying. LOVE the accent too!
Doctor Strange is probably one of my top five favorite characters of any super hero genre, be it Marvel or DC. The movie adaptation was superb!

Dr. Strange originally looked more like a younger Stan Lee, than Vincent Price. I have seen every Edgar Allen Poe based movie Vincent Price made. I loved his movies.

It's funny that Strange's own apprentice (in the comics) was that wormy guy (Krugar) in the "replacement" (actually earlier) Guardians of the Galaxy (the group that were headed by Starhawk) but because of the way time has to be telescoped down in the films he couldn't have even met the guy yet (because that group of GotG were actually around stealing stuff and doing adventures before Peter Quill's group came to be) and now Strange himself is "gone" so things are just wonky.
Imagine if euin got the role of doctor strange, he would probably say to everyone he meets "Hello there"
